GreatCall Jitterbug Touch3 8GB Unlocked Smartphone, Gray

I would recommend the Jitterbug to all senior citizens living alone because it gives you a very good phone service and the protection of instant response to any emergency they might encounter. After a brief period of getting used to the features, learning how not to accidentally set the alarms off and what to do if you do. They can feel the comfort of knowing that they are back in control of their life. Also they will find that the service is actually cheaper than their present phone service with much more security.

You can choose to have a normal smart phone screen or just have the choices you want on the main screen (phonebook, text, camera, photo album) which is nice.

Bought this for my 82 year old mom and it has been pretty simple for her. I had to call three times to get it working but Great Call was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this.

Easy to use and read. Just love it! Taking pictures are easy and texting is good. Worth the money. Also great call support is greatly appreciated! They worked on holiday to assist me setting up!

This phone comes with many features that are offered on much more expensive phones, and you are not locked into a contract. They have made it very easy to use and the customer service is great. I would recommend this phone to anyone who does not want to pay the price for a traditional Smart phone and be locked into a lengthy contract.

I bought 2 of these from Walmart. I was extremely pleased with the speedy and efficient service I got from Walmart. The phones however are another matter. We don't like them. Also you have to be very careful re hidden charges when you get connect with Great Call. The price is way more than advertised and you have to be very careful and watch your data usage. I used only 29 minutes out of the 200 minutes i'm to have and found out they were charging me more than my monthly bill. I talked to customer service and they were nice but explained it was the data use that had run it up. My husband is 88 years old and has a tremor and what happened was he had accidently touched the app button on his phone and it ws constantly charging although he had turned his phone off. I've had 2 cell phones before these Jitterbug Smart phones and they were much easier. I don't think these are too good for seniors. I DO NOT like them and wish I had the money I've spent on them.

I had to return phone because it would ring only 2 or 3 times and then go to voicemail. Not enough time to answer phone. I called Jitterbug customer service and they tried to change the amount of ring tones and could not. Had to return phone. Very disappointed . Also called Great Call to get bill adjusted. Said would not adjust until phone was returned and they also charge a $10.00 restock fee. Would not take fee off. Very disappointed with that policy. Barbara Wright

I bought this phone for my mom, she didn't like it. She said see couldn't see the keyboard it was too small. I returned it.

I bought this phone for my 85 year old mother. It was supposed to be for the elderly with bigger buttons, hearing aid comptibility etc. When I recieved the phone, in trying to set it up for her, the keyboard was so tiny that I couldn't even use use it! I definitely would not recommend this phone for any adult let alone an elderly person. It is so tiny that you can't see to type in the right place and you can't type the keys without hitting three at a time! This is supposed to be a phone especially for the elderly

Too many steps to make a call and to answer a call. My mother has memory issues and became frustrated everytime having to tap 123 to access call feature then having to slide left or right to answer a call! I returned it after a few days. It was not user friendly at all.
