excellent product, fast delivery well appreciated, have been using for quite some time. thanks for having it. Ray.
I've used it for years but could not find it where I used to purchase it, Walmart.com had it and it arrived quickly
I have been using it for a week and I'm very satisfied with the results.
This is a fabulous product. I don't know how or why it works, but it does. It gives immediate results and lasts. After I get to the shade I want, I use it occasionally for maintenance. No roots to cover up, no bleeding. I know it has a man on the box, but it works on both genders. It works great on my long hair and keeps my age a "secret" naturally! Even when I have my hair in a ponytail, braid or bun, it is great!
So far it is doing every thing it said so now time will tell
Reliable, prompt service. I wish though that it was still available in the store.
Pretty much works as advertised though the pictures on the box are a bit exaggerated. It's a frequent-use item; it isn't going to make you hair darker then you don't have to use it again until you've grown out more gray. Use it like you'd use any other daily or frequent-use hair product. People's use will differ, but my experience is that a 4 oz bottle will last me about two months. Note: there's some noise out there about their reformulating it to "get the lead out." I guess if one is old enough to want to darken gray hair, one probably resists change too. But my experience is that the bismuth citrate that replaced the lead citrate seems to be adequately effective, perhaps just as good; so my recommendation is that you don't worry about that, and DON'T go looking for the lead citrate version since they ARE bad for the environment! As for getting it at Walmart, I googled around a bit and concluded that their price of under $1.75 per ounce is about the lowest price you'll find online; I didn't do an exhaustive search though, so if you want to spend two hours looking at every possible outlet, be my guest, and please let us know what you found. Or let Walmart know, and maybe they'll drop their price.
Messed up my hair's ability to hold regular hair dye. I think part of the gimmick to get you hooked on continuing to buy this stuff is that it loads up your hair shaft with something that prevents the hair from being able to absorb regular hair coloring products, so that only Grecian will keep the gray at bay. I bought and used a bottle of this stuff every other day, and while it was marginally effective at darkening my gray hairs , it took like four weeks to see any results at all, I was not satisfied so I went back to using standard hair dye, that's when I found out that my grays were now color-resistant as a result of using Grecian formula! Will probably take months of regrowing new hair to get rid of the Grecian-infused parts of my hair so that my hair will once again accept the likes of Clairol, etc. as before. My hair was color responsive before using Grecian. I only tried Grecian because it was on sale for less than $10. I would not pay normal price for this stuff. Spend your money better and just get an actual hair dye and enjoy results the same day.
This was NOT a new product. This package had brown water spots all over the box.. ok. I can deal with a damaged box. However when I pulled the bottle out, it had dark brown crud all over it, as though it had been in a flood? It was so disconcerting, I threw the whole thing away.
