Green 5 Miles 532nm Green Laser Pointer Pen Mid-Open Visible Beam Light Ray Camping Office Tool

This has an incredibly strong laser. It really does project out for miles and unlike red lasers, you can see the beam pretty clearly on these and we tested it out well. The batteries obviously don't last a super long time because it's a powerful laser and 2 AA batteries, but this is a great deal. It's pretty rare I'm impressed by something cheap (affordable) like this laser, but it's metal, it works incredibly well, and it exceeded my expectations. This is great for star gazing and astronomy in general.

Love that it is 2 AAA batteries. Very bright. I have not used up a pair of batteries yet. Seems to be doing well there. Very happy with the purchase. I might get the three pack with different colors.

Great product for the price would buy again

I was surprised that I like the green laser pointer better than red. Works great and don't have to worry about finding the right size battery, just plain old AAA. I have some nasty birds that frequent my yard and they really hate lasers.

At first, the laser worked great. It wasn't long, however, before I encountered problems. The green light was bright, and the dot of light was larger than smaller, cheaper lasers. The button that must be held down during operation is more comfortable than with small lasers, but it still becomes uncomfortable within 15-20 seconds of pressing, so I let go of the button anytime that my cat wasn't actively chasing it, which is good because the laser consumes batteries way too fast. I never timed our play sessions, but I'm guessing that the laser was on for less than 1½ minutes per session. We had one or two sessions per day. In 4 or 5 days, as the battery life waned, the laser's light became faintly visible, and the dot was tiny. If I turned off the room's lights, my cat could still see it; otherwise, she couldn't. I changed the batteries using what we had on hand, which was brand name. The laser made short work of them, too. Because they were too expensive to last so short, I bought Walmart batteries, which lasted longer. (Good to know that WM batteries are a good deal.) The second problem is the way that the laser closes (is put back together) after replacing batteries. It was difficult in part because I couldn't tell if it screwed or just got pushed together. Ultimately, I found out that it pushed/pulled to close/open, which was bad because the casing didn't fit together well. I ended up needing to push and hold it together every time I used it. It's pretty hard to both hold it closed and keep the button pressed at the same time. I wouldn't recommend this laser. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to return it before the return time ran out. I will be ordering a different brand and be more aware of the time period. FYI, while the light is quite bright and has a long range, it does not travel the advertised 5 miles. Please be careful if using with your pet; the brightness intensifies/bounces off when it hits certain materials, like glass or crinkly plastic. I had to be especially careful not to accidentally get it into my cat's eyes.
