Green Garden Organic Freeze Dried Basil, 0.16 oz

I was hoping to get garlic but they didn't have it. I got basil instead. It's good. Not quite sure what the difference between regular and freeze dried. Maybe a little more fresh and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I typically prefer fresh herbs over bottled, freeze-dried is the next best thing to fresh! You could smell the freshness and fullness of flavor as soon as you opened the bottle. And, the shelf life is much longer than fresh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the basic I tried! I don't normally loved dried herbs but I feel like the freeze drying made them more flavorful. I use it in my pasta dishes and it actually tastes like basil! Can't wait to try more.

There is not exactly the same as fresh basil leaves - but not always practice to have on hand - so I appreciate a fragrant dried alternative. Preferred using in cooked foods vs as a fresh option. Appreciate that it's organic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing compares to fresh herbs but fresh herbs are not available 24/7 - this is! Green Garden herbs were definitely pricier than expected but I enjoyed them quite a bit. I've been cutting down on my sodium intake which has forced me to add other forms of flavor that won't increase my hypertension. These herbs are a great alternative as I work to expand my flavor palate and learn new seasoning techniques. They did not disappoint!
