Cheap but needs better quality control
I bought this Greenfield kickstand today and the base broke when I torque the bolt close to 35 ft-lbs. For a 14mm bolt, 35 ft-lbs should be legitimate standard. Unfortunately, the base broke at around 30 ft-lbs or so. I bought 2 of these Greenfield kickstands 20 years ago. The old ones are sill working great without loosening. Perhaps I got a defective unit. I'm getting a replacement and try again.
