Greenies Large Dog Pill Pockets Peanut Butter Flavor 15.8 oz

My dog needs to take a phenobarbital pill twice a day. It was a struggle using peanut butter and trying to cover the pill then smearing it on his pallet. He would occasionally spit out the pill . These pill pockets are terrific! I strip the pill into the hole and pick it closed. The dog barely chews it, He loves them so much! He has never spit out a pill. It’s not sticky so he just swallows it. These pill pockets peanut smell is pleasant, too! Win-win!

I like that this product allows me to give my dog her twice daily medications without a struggle. She actually looks forward to getting her pills now! She loves the peanut butter taste and does not even notice there is a pill in them. Without these pill pockets, I doubt if I could even get the pills down her as she has a VERY strong bite and I cannot even get her mouth open once she locks her jaws, lol. I highly recommend this product!

Our dogs all have medications they need. Those called "chewables" are usually not for our boys. Our rescue pup will likely be on multiple medications for life so these are a way of making it easy for him. He loves peanut butter and these have been perfect aid in making each pill time. Our golden is finicky and the only way he'll take his meds with it being in these peanut butter pockets. They like the smell, the size is pretty good though some pills are quite large and I have to either use a pill cutter to break them up or combine 2 pockets together which unfortunately is pretty costly. I do feel these are priced too high for the number you receive.

I happily pay a little extra for tthe quality of this brand, especially this flavor. The texture doesn’t crumble like most others, even if you forget to seal the bag. My dog loves the peanut butter flavor and I love that I don’t have to run and wash the horrible smell off my hands like all the other flavors!

This product enables me to give my dog medication easily. I have four pets and three of the four will gobble up anything I drop on the floor. So medicating them is never a problem the fourth one will not take a pill under any circumstances. We have tried cheese, cream cheese, peanut butter, chicken, tuna, everything you can think of ! They'd take the pill eat whatever we disguised it with and spit the pill back out. But these little pill pockets are a miracle! We don't stuff the pill inside the pocket because that's a pretty large bite for the size of the dog. We break a piece off, it's very pliable, wrap it around the pill and then break the remainder of the pill pocket into little pieces. Give them one of the pieces without the pill, then set the other ones, including the one holding the pill in front of them. And they gobble it up with no problem , excellent product!! I'm so glad someone thought to make these. It changed a daily struggle into a treat!

This is a good amount for a fair price. All 5 rescues love them. They are really helpful to get pills in them if needed. Once in a while they get them as a treat. They get the job done! Highly recommend both peanut and chicken flavors. Will always have them on hand.

Our dogs LOVE them. Be sure to get the ones for capsules to make sure that the pockets are big enough to hide them. Ours favor the peanut butter ones. These are a bit expensive, but they work. The main thing is, they get the dog to take medicine---equal ----healthy dog/happy owner.

My senior dog has been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. He has to take medication every 12 hours (for the rest of her life). She's fairly smart and sniffs out every small portion of anything that I give her. Even crumbling her flea and tic chews has become impossible. Fortunately she not resisting the medication that she has to take twice daily. This morning's dose was prefaced with a sniff. 🙄 I hope that the peanutbutter scent will continue working. As a backup, I bought the smoked flavor. Hopefully I'll get her to chew her 3 month flea and tic treatment with the smoked shew. (After nearly 8 years on them she's chosen not to take them. I'm still working on how to disguise the smal.l)

A must buy!! We have a few dogs and giving them a pill was never easy. I tried every trick in the books. Peanut butter, banana, cottage cheese... you name it, I've tried it. I put off buying these because of the price but finally broke down out of desperation. Game changer! All my dogs love them! They're soft so you can break them apart and get more for your money. If you have fussy dogs or dogs who can't be outsmarted to take a pill, then these are a must buy!

If you would like to purchase this item, I recommend purchasing it from another vendor. I ordered the item from Walmart. The incompetent delivery driver pretended he couldn't find my house, even though my records show multiple purchases every single month. The incompetent delivery driver then returned my item to the store, and I was notified to pick it up. I canceled the item and will be canceling every single outstanding order in which their driver cannot find my house. I will also no longer be making purchases from Walmart online. Minimum wage has gone up and Competence has gone down.
