[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the green life ice-cream maker in pink complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion. Love this ice cream maker. I was craving some ice cream but only had yoghurt and peaches in the fridge. I quickly whipped up a frozen yoghurt with grilled peaches in the ice cream maker (a twist on one of the recipes they had). The yoghurt churned and made the creamiest ice cream like dessert. Just enough to satisfy my craving and left overs for the next time. This can make a significant amount of ice cream though - about 5 cups. The ‘basket' freezes the ice cream really well (it needs to be in the freezer for at least 24 hours) and make sure you start the paddle and machine before adding your ingredients (use the chute) otherwise they will freeze before they have a chance to churn.

Assembly was straightforward and the instructions were easy to follow, which I appreciated. After freezing the bowl as recommended, the machine was simple to operate and didn't take up too much bench space. I made a strawberry ice cream on my first try and was impressed with how creamy the texture turned out, especially for a compact, manual-style ice cream maker. Cleanup was also much easier than expected, as the parts rinse clean quickly and don't feel fiddly. It was definitely on the softer side of ice creams which I didn't mind. The unit itself was easy enough to use but I found the frozen bowl a little tricky to get out after it had finished churning. **I was sent this product for free to review**

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pink colour is even prettier in person - a beautiful shade that looks great on my kitchen counter when in use. I made a raspberry sorbet to test out the machine, whilst it did take a bit of time to churn to the right consistency, the final result was delicious and smooth. My best advice: the bowl is easy to clean immediately after use, once you've done that stick it back in the freezer so its ready for next time.
