I use real butter instead of any oil and nothing had stuck yet. Wipes clean with a paper towel while still warm. Note: do not get the pan too hot. Because even butter will cause brown spots on the ceramic. From experience on other pans, cooking oil and even spray oils like Pam will even leave burn spots when the pan is too hot.
I was so tired of everything sticking to my "other" ceramic pan, I threw it away. I thought. "Let me give this Green Lite ceramic pan a try." Before buying a multi pack, I decided to try just one 7" pan primarily for frying eggs. With the tiniest bit of butter in the pan the eggs slid all over the place. Lol. It was a wonderful sight to see. I'm now ready to purchase the larger pan. Bye bye Teflon! Green Lite recommends not using olive oil or spray and I'm fine with that , now that I see how wonderful this pan works. Highly recommend this product.
I used it on two occasions. Once for bacon and eggs which I fried together without oiling the pan not surprisingly they did not stick. A second time for frying pancakes which contained butter and again I did not oil the pan and surprisingly it again did not stick. I am happy with the purchase up to this occasion but wished I had purchased the larger version. Cheerios
I bought this to replace an old teflon pan that I use for eggs. This pan is the most slippery surface I have every used. I use medium heat and I add butter, as recommended, and the eggs slide all over the pan. Scrambled eggs are interesting, as when you try to blend the eggs, the entire batch slides. you actually have to scoop under the mixture to get them to blend. I am sure omelettes will be a piece of cake. I love this pan. clean up is a breeze, just don't overheat it and don't use spray.
"Had purchased ""Green Life"" before. Was very satisfied before and very satisfied with new purchase."
I love this pan - it's the best one I've ever used! Food slides out even better than Teflon (perfect for eggs), yet I don't have to worry about what carcinogens I'm ingesting by using it. Among the new ceramic coated pans this one stands out because it doesn't have rivets inside the pan, to which food will stick (in my last pan, I had to pick out food from around the rivets with my fingernails as nothing else would get in there). I also love the bakelite handle which doesn't get hot as the metal one on the previous pan sometimes did, yet you can put this pan in the oven (I believe up to 350 degrees). I like this pan so much I've been telling everyone about it, and I got it in several other sizes! the only thing I don't like is they don't come with lids, but the previous pan did and it fits this pan just fine.
Wow, I was so impressed when I first it as it was shipped. The color, design, nice handle, and so easy to cook in for my eggs. I love it!!
I like this pan because of its color the first time I used I loved it , it is worsts the money, nothing stick to the pan .
Not sure how this pan got so many good reviews but the one that I got was poor quality and according instructions, you have to use a little bit of oil even when in the features states that is not stick but the sticks and is difficult to wash .
Says dishwasher safe but began to peel and come off in my food after having been in the dishwasher only four times. Additionally, I cut myself on the edge because it becomes very sharp where the coating peels off on the edges. This stupid thing was a lawsuit waiting to happen so I tossed it.
