It's multifunctional. Its ability to sear then take the same pan and insert it into its base to finish cooking. I have an induction burner so it's not compatible. It's very light weight and bigger than the avg. 8 qt. About 10.5 inches tall. It doesn't not require scrubbing because of its nonstick finish but a soft wash cloth or soft side of a sponge. The reviews warn about holding the pot by its lid when traveling, you're supposed to carry it by its handles that the lid sits in. Would absolutely recommend!

I saw this in the store but decided to order it online. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was $10.00 cheaper online. With todays economy and Christmas fast approaching, this savings was much appreciated.

I love my new 8-quart locking lid slow cooker! It is a beautiful edition to my kitchen! I have made several things, from beef stew to honey garlic chicken thighs. Both turned out so well! I love the seal that the lid has. It doesn't just sit there, it locks and seals in all the flavors. It will be so handy to carry also when I take meals for church dinners.

We had a family function and we needed to make a vat of mac %26 cheese. This was perfect for that and everyone loved it. Great size, simple to use, easy to read display, pan is wonderfully non-stick and super light. That's what's great, when you're making 8 quarts of something you don't need to pot to weigh as much as what's in it. Very happy with purchase!

I've owned many crockpots over my lifetime and this one is by far my favorite. The number of options are wonderful, but my favorite part of all is that the crockpot liner is lightweight and made of a nonstick surface. All of the crockpots that I've owned before came with the standard stoneware liner, which is extremely heavy and not a nonstick surface. I realize that nonstick surfaces are getting a bad rap these days but at my current age, over 60, having a lightweight liner is a wonderful thing. I used this crockpot several times through the holidays and it has been a joy every time I've used it. Well done.!

This is the best slow cooker I have ever owned. The inner pot is lightweight compared to the traditional slow cooker inner pot. And it's the easiest to clean. No scrubbing - just wipes clean. The locking lid is perfect for traveling. I bought this to cook a turkey breast an it was plenty big and cleaned up so easy. This slow cooker is now my go to for everything.

I paid an additional $10 for the Oxford blue. The box was labeled Oxford blue. However, upon opening, I received the graphite. Very disappointing my local Walmart has none in stock and I was relying on this for holiday cooking it now is on sale online for 59.97. Overall, the product looks like a great slow cooker. I just did not want the graphite color I ordered and paid for the blue or would've accepted the cream. I hope Walmart or the seller will contact me and offer a solution.

We were super excited to get this product. It was in our price range and large enough for what we needed. We got the item put in something for dinner turned it on and it turned off after an hour. We tried it again in different outlets and it would turn on for maybe a couple minutes and then it would shut off. Hoping somehow I can get my money back!

It looks nice, but the buttons are super sensitive/touchy, and after just 3 uses, the lining is peeling off! I got it last minute as an extra for the holidays so it's rarely been used - will be throwing it out.

Apparently it is impossible to get the color that you pay for, as this is the second time that I have paid for the Blue option and the second time I have received grey. If you are looking for a specific color steer clear from this company especially regarding color options because the first time I bought it, it was a 10 extra difference for me to buy the Blue option. As for the company selling these, if you do not have the option that you are listing or are elsewise incapable of getting it right, delist that option.
