GreenPan Elite 6-Quart Essential Smart Skillet | Black

I needed another soup/meal last minute for family coming over. I had just purchased the Multifunction Deep Electric Skillet and had not used it yet. Read through the instructions and available features quickly and started in on chicken and rice soup. Cooked the chicken in the skillet, then cooked the rice in the skillet while shredding the chicken. Added chicken broth and vegetables to the finished rice and boiled to cook the vegetables, and then added the chicken and seasoning and set it on the soup function within minutes of family arriving. After an hour switch the function to simmer and eventually to warm. The soup was a hit and was hot and ready for over 6 hours with out burning or getting to hot and only ONE dish to clean! Absolutely, my favorite appliance!

I love this skillet. You can cook rice and have plenty of room to stir it. I have cooked sauce, made soup and boiled water for kids Mac and cheese. It's Amazing!! Don't hesitate!

I'm very excited about my new electric skillet! It is such an improvement over the ones I had decades ago. I like the oval shape - no more corners to try to get the last bits from, and easier to clean.

I have never enjoyed cooking more! This pan is absolutely amazing. The nonstick surface works like a dream—cleanup is effortless. I can literally wipe it clean with a paper towel, no scrubbing needed! I'm not used to that, and I love it! From eggs to stir-fries, everything cooks evenly and slides right off. I'm so grateful I discovered GreenPan. If you're still on the fence, it's time to jump in—you won't be disappointed!

Received it and used it this weekend. Verdict? Game changer! I used my new electric skillet for Asian stirfry recipes, one with chicken and another with pork and beef. The wok function alone earns the 5 stars for this review! Meat cooked quickly and so did vegetables plus cleanup was a cinch. I am looking forward to using the other features of this latest addition to my Green Pan tools.

Purchased this to replace an old electric skillet / rice cooker and has not disappointed. Very easy to saute foods and then add additional ingredients for simmer, I.e. spaghetti. The higher sides makes frying chicken less messy and the rice cooker option gives enough rice for an entire family of 6!

Versatile cooking tool and the no stick ceramic surface is the very best. Great for sautéing anything to your personal preference. Browns up any meat and veggies perfectly. Does well on fish and shell fish. Salmon, shrimp, or scallops all cook up perfectly with a nice sear. Functions perfectly as a wok. A quick wipe is all it takes to clean between your cooking different items. Bits scrape up easy for a great gravy or sauce. Heats up quickly and evenly. Easy to clean. Controls are somewhat confusing but learning curve is short. The only change I would like to see is handles on the inner pan - it gets too hot to handle.

Absolutely love this electric skillet! No matter what you cook in it, it doesn't stick.
