GreenPan Valencia Pro Healthy Ceramic Nonstick 11-Inch Square Griddle

The Greenpan ceramic frypans and everything pan I purchased were amazing. They conducted heat so much more efficiently than my other cookware that was rated as the best at the time. I used to cook almost everything on high heat and now medium-high seems to be the same heat. And nothing sticks to the surface. I was definitely impressed and had to get used to gentler handling using utensils because I didn't have friction and needed less force. Why am I talking about skillets when this review is for. griddle? Because, the griddle with low sides requires even lighter handling with utensils. The griddle is even more so. Developing a lighter touch soon becomes second nature, though, and you get stellar results with a gentler touch. There's an adaptive process to not having food sticking, but still browning and crisping that you quickly overcome and I just love these pans. Oil is used for flavor and to get a level of crispness, which is great, and not required so food won't stick, which results in you deciding to use more oil from a culinary perspective and not just to prevent sticking.

I have been looking for a double burner griddle for my induction stove double burner option. I love the height of the sides it makes stove clean up easier. It will cook 8 1/3 lb. burgers easily (you will start with six and add two as beef heats. Cleans well enough that I can cook for both vegetarians and omnivores with just washing. It heats and cooks evenly just as you would expect of any Green Pan.

We use this on our induction stovetop. I really wanted a black stone but my husband talked me into this. It literally works the same way a black stone would but with a lot less work and from the comfort of my kitchen. I love it especially for frying up chicken and veggies. We put it over 2 burners so I do veggies on one half and chicken on the other. And it cleans up super easily.

I am very happy with the Valencia Pro 17pc cookware set that arrived a few weeks ago. After 40 years of my beautiful copper and stainless steel pans I had to let them go as they didn't work on my new induction cooktop. I scoured the thrift stores for compatible pots but I recently baby sat a friend's doggies and got to use her set of green pan cookware. I was very impressed, she has a set of the Padova pale green version which are gorgeous too but don't really suit my decor. I was going to hold out for the black set to come back in stock, but I really do like the subtle dark grey finish. They are a delight to cook with, very easy to clean even after baking a sticky casserole. They are a comfortable weight for me and I am thrilled to be able to chuck out my old Teflon pans for a safer ceramic finish. I am very impressed and am considering purchasing a set for my partner's family so their toddlers have a toxic free start to life.

Besides being aesthetically beautiful, it feels wonderfully smooth to hold, very ergonomically sound and lightweight. I cooked my usual egg breakfast in the pan. I have to say, it cooked faster, more evenly and the end product looked better than my usual pan breakfast. I will even go as far to say it tasted better too. The pan was easy to clean - food simply wiped out in one go. I decided not to use the dishwasher and am glad because using a sponge was easy. Very, very pleased with this pan. Will be cooking all of my meals in it from now on.

The instructions are short, easy to understand and detailed. So far I use non scratching not sure for long term usage. The only concern is the handle is stainless steel and can get hot to touch.

They advertise the non-stick frying pans as being tough and scratch resistant. Yet, when you buy one, it has a small disclaimer telling you to read this first before using it. In it, it tells you the various issues it can have. Like, don't use cooking sprays as it can damage the coating, use only low to moderate heating, don't use nylon dish brushes as it can damage the coating and so on. So much for it being scratch resistant and robust. Sounds like a delicate little flower. So, the company is misleading the consumer. I mean, is it robust or not? If it can't handle a simple dish brush, then how can it be scratch resistant and so forth?
