(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this model 2 years ago and does a great job. It's very quiet and easy to use. The powerful 13 Amp motor requires a 12 gauge extension cord.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this mower maybe 6 year ago. 3 weeks ago hit a rock with it that broke my blade. Called the customer service to buy a new blade, they acrually send it to me for free as they were not sure it was the right fit for the model number on my mower. The blade received, was the right one and fit perfectly. Went to mow the lawn and the motor shorted probably due to fact that the rock killed the electric motor. Just decided to order the same exact model again because the product work great for years with enought power for my job. Great customer service when I needed it and the parts to repair are available right on their website. This means alot to me and this is the reason I am buying a second mower of the exact same model.
I have a pretty small yard, which this lawn mower is perfect for! I use 60' of medium duty extension cord, and can reach everywhere that needs mowing. The mower has enough power to get through the lawn, and the bagger works great. The cord does take some getting use to, but it's easy once you get the hang of it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought my first electric mower. Already enjoying not using gas! Quiet, easy to start, mows great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My neighbor Sold his house to move In with his brother because he had brain cancer and gave me his lawnmower, he needed a new battery so I ordered a new battery but the old battery got me about three or four uses and I love the lawnmower
The 13amp electric mower is exactly as described - sufficient power, quiet and little to no maintenance. A++
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this mower. Very easy to set up and use.
The second time I used the mower a hubcap fell off a wheel and there was a 'bang' as the hubcap was chewed up by the mower blade. It was alarming but thankfully, there was no injury or further damage caused. The other hubcaps seemed secure. I hope Walmart will address my issue. Otherwise, the mower does a nice cut and the bag attachment does a good job collecting the clippings. I would have preferred a handle that flips back and forth to go forwards and backwards.
The quality of cut is equal to another highly rated brand's cordless mower that I have used on our lawn and to the 20-year-old corded mower that it replaced. With overlapping passes, the cut is nice and uniform. Because it uses a brushed motor, it's louder than the cordless mower's brushless motor, but it's about the same as the old one and a lot quieter than a gas-powered mower. The mower feels solid and like it will last for years. Our lawn is about 0.4 acre in size, and a cordless mower can't cover it in a single charge. Thus, the corded Greenworks mower has a huge advantage there; it works as long as it's plugged in! Two minor complaints: 1) The thin metal power lever sometimes causes numbness in my fingers. The lever's diameter should be increased or a thick slip-on pad made available. 2) The power cord unplugs easily from the mower's socket. Greenworks should provide some type of coupling lock.
I bought this last year in April. In 2 months pins connecting the handle to the machine started to get loose, and eventually 2 pins got lost and I had to use it with a constantly dislocating handle. Finally last week the plastic part that holds the blade got dislocated while I was mowing and shred into pieces. The unit became completely unusable. I had to put it into garbage. Complete loss of money and time.
