(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have used a chorded in the past chainsaw, this one is by far better. Like another review, the chorded saw is so much better than dealing with gas chainsaws, just push the trigger and it goes! Awesome.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The green works electric chainsaw is a game changer. My husband bought the 14” chainsaw for last Christmas. He has some health issues so I'm doing the tree cutting. I'm getting the 18” for this coming Christmas! I cut up a double trunk dead ash tree that hit the ground, then helped with the log splitter. The chain on it is excellent and it is so easy to tighten. 100% satisfied and highly recommend!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Light weight, easy to use and cut quickly. No worries about batteries powered as the electrical connection to my extension cords. Good for location where you cut into small pieces and store for later splitting.
Very good, powerful chainsaw. I enjoy the corded electric, not having to worry about a carburetor gunking up over time when not in use and not having to buy gas. Best parts of using it is the good power and ease of tensioning the blade or changing the blade; don't have to take off nuts like most of the gas powered.
Bought this and the weather won't cooperate so haven't had a chance to put it through all it's paces. I have the pole saw and it did so well went for the chainsaw. Needed something with more to it. This fit the bill. Why electric you ask? Ever try starting one when it's cold, or start and stop repeatedly, gas doesn't like to start on a short notice in cold weather. Electric goes at the push of a button. In an emergency no hunting for gas or 2 cycle oil, just plug and go. Even a generator or power inverter. It's just easier, cleaner, better for the environment.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) economical option for occasional cutting requirmeents
no battery, is electric. first cut was like cutting thru melted butter.only had one medium size 8 ft. log approx.8 inch in diameter to cut into 6 sections,...but blade dull already.it needs sharpening / need a new blade, just received saw yesterday. blade situation is not what i hoped for.
this is a good chainsaw it works well for smaller sized branches and trees however the oil leaks from the chainsaw so be careful where you store it
I used this product off and on for an hour or two on my tree cleanup. I did not overwork or abuse this saw and used the proper gauge extension cord required as per the manual and was pleased with the amazing performance of this saw. Near the end of the job the saw was still cutting very good and then all of a sudden I seen sparks intermittently coming from the end of the motor. It got worse very quickly and started smoking and slowed down with no power almost in an instant. I thought maybe it overheated but was barely warm to the touch so something let loose internally in the motor. I was pleased to find out there was a no hassle return on this item thru my local Walmart but was disappointed it didn't continue to do the job. I have not yet decided to try another of the same model as the 4 year warranty tells me it should hold up well under normal use but while it was working properly it was impressive.
