Purchased it to replace my gas weed eaters now that I have a much smaller piece of property. I have not had a chance to use it because my wife loves it and has been doing all the weed eating while I sit there in a lawn chair and cheer her on. She tells me that it is light enough for her and very easy to use and that she is very happy.
I'm a 68 year old petite female, and this trimmer is light weight. No pulling to start, just a push of a button and off I go!
Great trimmer for a medium sized yard. I used this trimmer to trim two yards and still haven't used all the charge. I love the size versus the much longer trimmers, much easier to use for edging. Very happy with purchase.
I am very pleased with the overall product. It is lightweight, easy to handle and control, cuts smoothly and evenly. It has plenty of power for what I need it for. The battery run time is excellent.
Have used a excellent brand 2 stroke trimmer for decades. Decided to give this a try and have not been disappointed. 3/4 acre to work and the 4 AH battery has lasted fully each week. I'm impressed with the lightweight unit and it appears to be well made. Do doubt the battery will loose ability as it ages but a good choice for me. I like the ability to set it down while hand weeding as I go whereas an ICE trimmer would continue to run or have to be restated frequently.
Works well. Small yard. Can do all trimming 4 times+ without charging. Light and quiet
Powerful string trimmer with two swath settings easily converts to sting edger.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] children love to work with it because it can be adjusted in height
Lots of power, used this to edge and cut weeds. Just need to tap to extend more line instead of my usual autofeed. Near the end, one line of the dual line head disappeared, and had to spend time figuring out how to get it out since there was no instruction. Remove the cap by pushing the tabs, wind the strings tight and wedge it in a slot on the spool. Put cover back on lining up the string to the holes and lightly pull. Power on trimmer and tap to see it works.
It's quiet, has good battery life, and cuts very well. My only complaint is that it's somewhat difficult to keep the spinning mechanism off the ground 100% of the time so it scrapes against the ground. There is no guard and the material is just plastic so mine quickly wore through the plastic leaving the spinning mechanism partially exposed. Also, it's basically just a weed wacker, and while it's a very nice weed wacker, the edging function is not really that functionally. The metal bar to help guide the edging is very flimsy and often comes off and doesn't penetrate the soil very easily. I end up edging just as I would work a normal weed wacker. In summary, purchase if your are looking for a very solid weed wacker and don't care about the edging function.
