Greenworks 24V SDS 1.2J Brushless Rotary Hammer Drill, Tool Only

Was pleasantly surprised by by this tool. It is a very powerful drill an compares to my much more expensive drill from another company. This thing drills through concrete, wood, anything else with ease and has a ton of torque. I will say that 2.0 Ah battery does not last long when doing heavy duty work but that is the nature of the 2Ah battery. The battery does charge fast with USB and can also be reversed to charge your phone. Very novel Idea for a battery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very torquey for it's size, the 1/2" chuck makes it versatile for many applications, the side charge outlet makes it very convenient to charge without removing the battery from the drill, the light is helpful in dark locations to see how precise your work is being performed, the included bag makes it easy to transport the included detachable handle and 65W USB charger with the drill.

I recently bought the hammer drill, partly because it shares the 24V battery with a Greenworks pole hedge trimmer I got as a gift. The keyless chuck works flawlessly. The torque/speed adjustment feature is great for specific jobs. The battery delivers plenty of power for quite a while and recharges quickly. I dismantled a VERY high "tree fort" with it, which would have been much more difficult with a "wired" drill.

This product works exactly as expected. There were many brands to choose from but I chose Greenworks because of the wide variety of tools available that work with the same battery packs.

This is my first Greenworks product and it has been outstanding! I love the compact size of the product. It packs a lot of power in a small package. The 24V battery definitely has more power than others. One of my favorite things is it can charge with a micro usb and doesn't need a separate charger. Makes it so nice to use when camping or throw in my truck when I'm on the go. I'm going to be buying more products after putting this one to the test!

Very happy with this. I'd already been using Greenworks products (lawnmower, trimmer/edger) and liked them a lot. I needed a new drill so I bought this one, in part because it uses the same battery as the trimmer/edger. Solid construction, quiet, and powerful.

I've been extremely impressed with this cordless drill. It has a ton of power while being slightly smaller than my old craftsman and handles everything from basic household projects to heavier-duty jobs without struggling. The compact design is one of the best features — it fits easily into tight spaces where larger drills just can't reach, which made a huge difference when working inside cabinets and corners. The battery life has been excellent and best of all no bulky charger, only a cord that plugs direct to the battery. The drill feels well-balanced and comfortable to use even during longer projects. It's lightweight without feeling cheap, and the build quality feels solid and durable. The chuck grips bits securely, and the brushless motor is smooth and precise. Overall, this is a great combination of power, portability, and convenience. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable drill that performs like a like a corded drill while still being compact enough for everyday use.

A little disappointed by the little nylon / polyester storage bag - would have been nice to have had separate compartments for the battery and for the charger, so they're not all thrown in smooshed against each other.

I purchased a 24V SDS-Plus 2J Brushless Rotary Hammer Drill with a 4.0Ah battery and charger. After receiving it, I noticed that the tool and battery were manufactured in 2021 — already 4 years ago. I'm concerned that the battery may have lost some of its capacity, and the tool might not perform at full power. I hope the seller can offer a solution, such as replacing the battery with a new one.
