Greenworks 40V 12" Single-Stage Battery Powered Push Snow Blower 2600702

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very happy with my purchase. It really throws the snow an amazing distance. I would recommend the one with directional vanes if you have houses close to you where space is limited. The battery lasts for about 40 minutes depending on the weight of snow. It is a bit heavy to carry up and down stairs is the only downfall. Otherwise, this is machine has proved to be a great value for the money and has reduced my shovelling time.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this for work to do our walkway. Works well. Needed it with the crazy winter we had. Saved a few backs.

This is heavier than my ideal, but it is very capable of cleaning my walkways, especially paved ones. It's not recommended for other surfaces but does the job if you get the angle right. You cannot direct the path of the blown snow but this doesn't matter much for the 3-6” of snowfall I've seen so far.

I have a several other Greenworks cordless tools and have come to appreciate their power, ease of charging and battery life. This snow blower stays true to those brand promises. However, the snow blower function is where this tool starts to get interesting. Initially I was extremely impressed with how quickly and quietly this removes snow - it handled the sidewalks and paved back patio around our house with ease, even in spots where accumulation was more than 6 inches. When I moved out to the driveway, things started to get hairy. The snow blower's ability to power through snow continued to impress, but it was what happened to the snow afterwards that was less than ideal. Fine snow was blasted into a mist that went EVERYWHERE, including where I just cleared. Wind is your worst enemy in this situation. Heavier snow was easier to control, but even the slightest movements in the direction of the tool significantly effected where the snow was thrown. The side of my house, windows, shrubs and even my neighbors house on the other side of the driveway were all potentially in harms way. After some practice, I was able to minimize the amount of errantly thrown snow, but still ended up covered in powdery mist and still had to apologize to my neighbors. All in all, this works as intended, albeit with a significant learning curve, and it beats the heck out of shoveling.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this product just before it snowed and it worked as advertised and did everything i needed it to do. Two changes I would suggest. Provide a 5 amp battery for longer usage time and some directional ability to move snow around
