Greenworks 40V 16” Battery Powered Push Walk-Behind Mower, Brushless Motor, 5Ah Battery

I purchased this lawnmower because my gas powered clunked out. I have a 1/2 acre yard. I was skeptical at first but wanted a battery powered one for a while now. Not only was it the easiest set up it is the easiest by far to start and use. If I could go higher than 5 stars I would. The price they could easily get double. This thing is amazing. So easy to push my 9 year old son mower half of the 1/2 acre and I did the other half. The battery last through the entire yard and was still running strong. I definitely will be purchasing the weed eater and leaf blower now. I wished I switched from gas years ago. This is a game changer. 100% amazing!

Need more delivery options Fedex is poor at best. Seems to be okay so far only mowing a small 25X25 patch so it's not getting used very hard. I'll update if things change. More importantly Fedex is the worst delivery option in my area, they make Walmart look bad. Driver left package in middle of step blocking entry to and from door. Not to mention how beat up the box was. USPS or UPS are better, fedex not even in the game.

I love this electric mower! It worked great and definitely listened to reviews and didn't go down to 1 or 2. 3 is perfect for the yard. It can only do one half of my yard a full charge but that works perfect for me since I only have that much time anyways.

I was so upset, once they delivered the item the tape on the item looks like it was a return item, when we opened the box the bag for the mower, the battery and the charger was not in the box. How can you sell a return package with missing stuff to another customer .

I wish i could give it negative stars. it's nothing but waste of time. I bought twoce because i likes the price tag along with the machine but now i know why it was so cheap. they are not giving you any nuts or screw. And don't even write that in description. where am i suppose to get the acrews from?? I called the manufacturer, they said it Walmart's shipping fault. Extremely disappointed!!!

Grass bag had mold on it and handle was rusted when we opened the box up. Returned it the very next day for a full refund,

It doesn't last more than 30 mins. We have to charge every 30 Minsk's for almost 2 hours I have mow my lawn for two days Just waste of time I am going to return it

Husband really liked this mower. Purchased it last summer. We have had some warm weather so he got it out, it wouldn't work- charged the battery - nothing. I thought the battery would have lasted longer than it did. To replace the battery it's going to be 200$. Not sure if I can recommend it now. Especially knowing this info.

it dose not want to cut grass or any thing else cant even get out of its own way starts but the minute you put it to grass or even thin hollow stem weefs it cuts out shipping was good an on time i tried most of the different blades same results if it wont cut grass how is it supposed to trim small brush give it 1 star for great shipping save your money

I tried charging the 5amph battery as instructions, and after an 1 hr the charger started flashing red indicating that it was overheating. Keep in mind it takes 2 hrs to fully charge. Let it cool down and proceeded with charging, 30 min later red light flashing and overheating or possibly faulty battery. By this time the battery had 3 of 4 lights, charged for another 15 minutes and same thing red light flashing. Took off. Called customer service greenworks and they said it came with the wrong battery and that it should be a 4amphr battery not 5, but they said you got a better battery and sometimes associates misplace batteries in the wrong box on returns. The box had copious amount of clear tape on edges indicating it had possibly been reboxed (mower and all). Looks new other than metal plate over height adjustment has corrosion already. When greenworks had me start to do checks on battery and charger, guess what it showed solid green meaning its fully charged. So I am very worried that this is fefurbished or a returned product. Walmart any thoughts on your end? I just dont want to be stuck with a battery that works now but will quickly die due to whatever reason its having charging. greenworks said since it was solid green now we could just monitor it. Guess we will findout
