Greenworks 40V 20-inch Hedge Trimmer Attachment, PH40A00

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. Flexible and durable usage, love the adjustable head. Allows for easy access for difficult or hard to reach trims.

Same experience with durability. Contact with a modest size stem - smaller than diameter of small finger - bends the blade causing the trimmer blades to jamb. It is possible to loosen the fixing bolts holding the blade assembly together and carefully straighten a bent tooth. Once reassembled the trimmer will work as intended .... until another hard vine strike. Just a constant effort to keep operational.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New was great, longevity is horrible for the amount of use it gets. Blades wear to constant snags, sharpening did not help. Head area overheats way too easy and then melts the plastics. My 15 year old craftsman still works. This was bought in 2020 and now unusable..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] while the hedge trimmer blades function reasonably well i have two problems with it: 1) the lock for the adjustable pivoting head does not lock very well and the blade tends to lose or shift angle when meeting even slight resistance 2) Greenworks does not offer replacement blades! the blade on mine cracked and the front quarter of the blade/teeth are now gone, which are the most useful teeth on the blade... the description page here for this trimmer attachment uses the exact phrase "Designed for durability and long-lasting performance" but it has absolutely failed me on both points.

As with other reviewers, NOT A DURABLE TOOL. Teeth at the end of the blade have broken off, making 3" of the end of the blade useless. I came to this site to buy replacement blades. THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE. THE trimmer works great, the cutting blades are not durable.
