[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice medium weight trimmer cuts 3/16 inch stalk weeds easily with the line that was part of the package. Batteries hold their charge and the unit is much quieter than any 2 cycle gas trimmers that I have ever owned ! Worth considering if you need a reliable trimmer and don't want to mix the fuel.
I'm very happy with the performance of my mower so far. The machine was easy to set up, the controls are easy to use, and it cuts my grass just fine. I opted for the self-propelled mower and I'm glad that I did! I love that I can adjust the speed and also move the mower without running the blade. The bag is great, I never have spillage and it's easy to attach, detach, and empty. Adjusting the machine height is a breeze as well. Lastly, I love that the handle folds forward and I can store the mower standing up. It takes up hardly any space in my shed!
So far I like the lawn mower. I've only used it twice. . It's easy to use The batteries last and charge fairly fast. The turtle to rabbit speeds I loved and I'm somewhere in between I guess.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is all kinds of powerful. Being able to switch attachment heads from any brand is the reason I bought it.
I have a small enough yard that it only takes about 15-20 mins to cut. The battery level is at 2 of 3 bars after I finish. The wheels push quite strongly and can easily go uphill. I'm very pleased with the performance of this mower. 48v 2x24 self propelled w/5 Ah batteries. The free drill is quite low powered in terms of the torque rating but it is stronger than anything I routinely need it for so that was a nice surprise. I also appreciate the USB port on the batteries to charge my devices at 1A when I'm out camping.
This is what a lawn mower should be! So simple to use, start and it's very quiet compared to my old gas mower. The self-propelled feature is also a great plus. And with the mulch plug, side discharge, or rear bagger, there are many options to best suit your needs. The dual battery system is perfect for my smaller yard. And I still have 1-2 bars of power left on each battery (out of 3). The added bonus of the drill in this set was also great – cord free! Would recommend this mower to anyone!
I really enjoy having this trimmer. Instant power without fueling, without choking, without priming, without pull starting and without hassle. The only reason why I refuse to give it 5 stars is that it takes both batteries to power it and they only hold a charge for about 30-45 minutes depending on how agressive you are with trimming. It would be far better if it was only one battery to run it and the extra battery for plug and play restart. The need to recharge every time I do lawn work is the biggest real downfall here.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the power of this machine but the bump head line feed never works properly. I have to take it apart to forward any line. Very frustrating.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed in the 2.0 AH batteries. They only last 10 or 15 minutes. Have to charge them twice to weed eat my small yard. Would not have bought this if I knew they were so weak. Larger batteries cost twice as much as the weed eater did.
I'm currently giving this item a 3 out of 5, for one reason only. Dead batteries, fresh out of the wrapper, that will not hold charge. It seems this string trimmer is an older model that is being clearanced nearly everywhere to move old inventory. In fact the unit I just received a few days ago (at time of writing this) was built and stored in 2022, to include the batteries. Was only able to use this unit for around 20 seconds at a time, but during those 20 seconds it ripped through thick and damp grass fairly easily. If only I was let down by dead batteries that will not hold a charge. This thing is also really simple to put together and operate, didn't even have to look at the instructions, its fairly self-explanatory how it goes together. I have been able to get in touch with Greenworks customer service yet, they don't work on weekends. I will update this after getting in touch with them, if I don't forget.
