Greenworks 5.5 Amp 15 in Corded Electric String Trimmer, 21272

At 78 years old and now experiencing stage 4 Parkinson symptoms, with overgrown weeds everywhere since I could no longer start my old gas 'Featherlight' Weed-eater any longer I was left with only the choice to get one that didn't require 'physical coordination' to start. This one fit the bill very well!

Excellent device, easy to assemble and even though the assembly instructions were not always clear (safe/unsafe uses) it came together quickly. Does a fantastic job even on tall tough weeds. I would purchase again and I hope this company makes other garden tools.

I WAS ABLE TO PUT THIS TOGETHER MYSELF AND USE IT SHORTLY AFTER I RECEIVED IT. IT IS HEAVIER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE I HAD. WORKED GREAT-MY LAWN LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER!

This weed eater is easy enough for a beginner to put together and use, I wish I'd gotten one sooner. I only have a small yard and this package includes a replacement spool.

Very impressive string trimmer. Easy to use and fairly light weight. No gas fumes or deafening noise. Had some very tall patches of seasonal weeds that were no match for this machine.

It is very powerful. Good enough to handle for small women like me.

IIm really happy with my trimmer. It was very easy to put together and it did a wonderful job at trimming my lawn. I like the fact that the trimmer head swivels from horizontal to vertical. The only thing that surprised me is that I found it a little bit heavy. And IllThe only thing that surprises me is that I found it a little bit heavy. In all fairness I have not tried other trimmers. So I cannot compare the weight of it with other brands. I think the price was really good and all in all it will be fine for me.

First use was very good. Extra 1.5 amps made a difference, but real review should be written after a year of my infrequent use. With 3 burnt out 4 amp trimmers going to a stronger model should increase lifetime usage. The device is heavier, but not too difficult to handle. The new, remodeled, plug is definitely an improvement.

I've had this for a couple of years now and I can tell you this trimmer does a really good job. It's relatively quiet and you get very used to the cord in a very short time. I just finished using it and I'm very pleased with it's power. I'm 70 years young and I have no problem holding this. It's just a tad heavy, but you take your finger off the start button, put it down for a second and then just keep on trimmin'! I have no problem recommending this to anyone and the handle is adjustable. I'm 5'7" and the adjustment I made was easy and very comfortable. You won't go wrong with this...and I have yet to change the string.

I had a black and decker double string that never tangled or have me issues. For some reason they stopped selling that one so I looked for another. This was the only double string I could find. I can't get it to work at all. I even bought string wrapped through the manufacturer. I don't know if I can return it, but I will if I can. ...and I'm buying a single string black and decker.
