Greenworks 60V 8" Attachment Capable Edger, Tool Only, 2704002T

I have everything greenworks, edger was my latest purchase and I love it!! Highly recommend all the battery products and my power washer is amazing also.. very satisfied with the collection.. thank you!!!

used it today . had enough power to go slow with trigger or fast . the point was near car it had enough to cut the edge slower to not throw dirt or grass but power through. 60 volts vs my other brands 18 but the reason i switched is my wife could not change batteries on the other brand. . the better power and longer run time is great not a surpise as the 60v battery is from the tiller and its power needs are much more and it works good for a small light weight . i have a collection now . i wish the 80v weed wacker was 60v or vice versa but batteries are not insane priced like some brands so far i have had good luck with green works

Does the job beautifully! Easy to use and produces perfect edges.

Had the zero turn and trimmer first and was tired of line constantly breaking while edging so bucked up for this and have no regrets. Takes half the time and doesn't waste string, and I'm pretty good with a trimmer. I have no regrets about this purchase.

Outstanding Tool! Previously, I was using an edger attachment coupled with the Greenworks interchangeable motor. This dedicated tool makes things so much easier. It is much more powerful than the attachment edger. I wish I would have gotten this sooner. It cuts twice as fast.

I didn't realize how much sidewalk I had lost to grass. First time use resulted in a little bit of cleanup. But once you find the sidewalk edge it was a snap the tool really works well. Great power. My sidewalk and driveway edge have not looked this good in over 20 years.

since the mower was broke when arrived I also returned this product so could not comment on item itself

This is my third Greenworks product using 60v batteries, so I just ordered the tool without the battery and charger. I've loved my mower and chain saw, and I now love this product as well. It's powerful, well designed ergonomically, and easy to use. First impression: After reviewing the quick start sheet and the microprinted manual, I spent a couple of minutes connecting the upper and lower drive shafts and attaching the D handle, then dropped in my battery and started edging. It has two speeds, but the low speed seems fine for most purposes, and you can further control the rotation speed with the trigger as you use it. It has a very solid feel, and the blade is very sturdy, with no sharp edges. It doesn't need sharp edges. We have very dense St. Augustine grass in most of our yard, which mostly laughs at my Stihl FS70R line trimmer, which is not really designed for edging. I hadn't edged in a couple of months because it would make such a mess of the edge. I took this new edger out for a spin, and within a few minutes, I had fully trimmed our entire front curb and both sides of the driveway, with only a few defiant runners that I just pulled by hand. It was very quiet as well, compared to most edgers I've seen and heard. My best comparator for this edger is an old corded electric model from Sears that finally gave up the ghost a few years ago. This product cuts circles around that old edger, and it left a neat edge that I've never been able to achieve with my Stihl FS70R string trimmer. I can't recommend this enough, especially for anybody already using Greenworks 60v products and don't need the battery and charger. If you don't have Greenworks products and you're looking for powerful battery-powered lawn equipment, anything from the Greenworks 60v product line is worth the investment. I would recommend no more than 2 or 3 batteries for most of their products, to allow for one to charge while using another one and having the third as a reserve to finish bigger jobs. The batteries packaged with the products are much cheaper than buying one alone.
