Great Blower

Garden gnome February 17, 2026

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When my giant of a husband wears this, he looks like a professional ghostbuster. When I put it on, I genuinely worry that if I turn it on full blast, I'll achieve lift-off and migrate south for the winter. The power is actually insane it clears the snow from the walkways instantly. Just a warning for the petite ladies out there: plant your feet firmly, or you will become a human hovercraft. It's a blast (literally). Works better than a gas blower.

Excellent backpack blower

Oilersfan97forever October 28, 2024

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Purchased this 80v backpack blower about six months ago. Use it on leaves, snow, dust, and to dry off vehicles after washing them. Excellent well made product and lots of CFM to tackle my odd jobs. I use the same batteries as my greenfield Greenworks lawn mower which is super convenient. Highly recommended blower.

The hose is a little stiff when you first use it, but it breaks in pretty quickly. Like all the greenworks products I've purchased, this has exceeded expectations. The only downside is that you will need several ~$200 batteries to complete a large yard.

More powerful than I expected

RickGoblue June 14, 2019

Tired of mixing gas and oil I made the switch from my old back pack blower. Pleasantly surprising pleased with the electric backpack does everything my old did and more!

Good blower. 65yr old mother loves it.

Johnboy September 10, 2020

The wand is much nicer on my mother's hands (she has hand problems) than a non-backpack blower. It frees her hands of the heavy blower and seems to have less vibration on her hands. She likes the control and the "turbo" too. The backpack took some getting use to for her. She also commented that it does not last quite as long as she would like, but laughed and said it forces her to take a break and rest (which isnt bad).

Powerful, quiet, and eco friendly.

Anonymous June 26, 2022

This puppy has two settings, really powerful and obscenely powerful. I LOVE it. It's very easy to assemble and get going right out of the box and after that, it's easy to disassemble for quick storage. Most of all it's very powerful and considerably more quiet than their gas counterparts. I use it after mowing the lawn to disperse any grass buildup. I use it for cleaning the driveway. I use it to clean off the green works lawnmower I have. I haven't even had a chance to use it in the Fall yet and I love the thing. Get it.

Very good product

Anonymous August 29, 2020

I bought this to replace a 60 Volt Greenworks Backpack Blower (works very well but I wanted to standardize all my Greenworks tools on 80 Volts). As was the 60 volt version, it assembled in about 10 minutes and just works, plain and simple. Can't ask for more than that.

No Idling Discomfort

dan4eternity April 23, 2021

Great tool to add to my Greenworks 80v Pro collection! Inexpensive when you already have batteries and charger. Great to have a blower that I don't have to have idling on my back when not blowing. Doesn't match the most powerful backpack blowers, but pretty close.

2nd blower - nice idea.

Anonymous August 24, 2020

This is my second of these devices - the first one ended up at my home and the second at my office. Overall, good design. Having the battery (the heavy bit) in a backpack makes it much easier to wield for longer periods than the handhelds, as it does in the case of a gas-powered backpack blower vs. a handheld gas-powered. Bravo, Greenworks. Especially noticeable when using a 4-6ah battery - much better balance achieved. Downside is really only the bit from the outbound air port on the blower itself out to the tube at the end. I'm sorry to say this, but - it kinda sucks. It's still usable, but if you are a larger person (guilty), the fact that the blower tube is mostly non-flexible makes it harder to use. Having portions of the radius where you'd normally have corrugated plastic replaced by solid bits puts one at the mercy of the radius; and if you have longer arms, it's too short in the wrong places to be perfectly usable. If I were designing it, I'd do what most pro gas blowers do - have a short, solid piece at the blower hole and a big, long corrugated (and reinforced) tube out to the end of the radius (in my case, about 3'), and then a very short connecting ring for the blower tube. Anywhoo, I still like it. I'm sorry but I've hated 2-cycle gas engines most of my life. This is still much better.
