[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an old gas powered Shindaiwa trimmer. This was lighter and it worked great. The only issue is the I won't be able to use the many steel attachments I had bought through the years for the gas powered trimmer.

Ease of use and runs forever.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Made the switch to electric and kicking myself for not doing it sooner. This trimer performs just like my gas trimmer with out any of the hassle. I was concerned how long the battery would last weed whacking my average size yard every 5 days. Its been a month and the trimmer is still going strong on the initial charge and over a month now. Its as powerful but easier to use than the gas trimmer and I don't smell of 2 stroke exhaust when I am done.

I used to hate trimming.
I always hated trimming when it was part of my chores as a kid. It was noisy and awkward and took forever. This trimmer changed my mind. In a very short time, I've trimmed all around our raised beds, our many newly planted trees, and areas the mower can't get. The sound level is modest and the string lasts a really long time -- unlike the old days! This was a great purchase.
