Grill Mates Chipotle & Roasted Garlic Seasoning, 2.5 oz Bottle

I made pork skewers today and decided to use this seasoning. It paired absolutely perfectly with the meat! The roasted garlic and the slight smoky heat from the chipotle really came alive on the grill. The pork turned out incredibly flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend it and will definitely be buying it again!

I think it is one of McCormick's Grill Mates best. It has clear, clean flavors without the 'salty' aftertaste that can often blow out a dish. My family has loved it on chicken, fish (mixed with fresh lemon juice and olive oil), and ramen so far. It has a ton of uses and marries well in an oil-based marinade for an extra pop. I am going to try it as an add-in for ranch dressing next!

It gives a great smokey, herb and garlic flavor to everything I've used it on. We have done steaks, shrimp and even put it in my potato salad! I received this product for free as part of a bzzagent campaign. Normally I would not have purchased this product because I thought it would be very spicy, but that was not the case at all. It had a little spice to it but it wasn't overly spicy. The spice was balanced with the smoky, garlic flavor. I tried it on some grilled chicken drumsticks and they were amazing. I would definitely buy this again.

I loved using this seasoning. The chipotle and garlic go so well together! I also got hints of chili pepper and cumin. I put this on chicken and hamburger before grilling. It stuck to the meat nicely and didn't make a huge mess. The ending flavor is incredible. This definitely makes my dinner more flavorful!

I'm a fan of McCormick spices and seasonings in general and this one* did not disappoint. I could really taste the garlic and spice but nothing was too overpowering (and certainly not too spicy - I don't like super spicy foods, preferring to order Thai takeout as a solid 'medium'). I had this on both roasted vegetables and baked cod and it was delicious on both. It would be easy to add other chili flakes to it as well if you were looking for a DIY spicier kick, though I enjoyed this as-is. (* received as part of a BzzAgent campaign)

I really liked this seasoning! It has a great flavor with just a hint of heat! I used this on some wings I grilled and mixed in a little brown sugar, and it was delicious! I will say I would use a little more than the package recommends if you really want a strong flavor otherwise it is a little mild. I can't wait to try this for some of my other meals!

The flavor is super bold but not overpowering, with a nice smoky chipotle taste and just the right amount of garlic. It added a ton of flavor without me having to think too hard, which is a win on busy nights.

Overall it is a good flavor profile, it is just a little weaker than other blends I've had from other brands. I was hoping for a bit more heat. That said my kids inhaled the chicken I made with it, and they were very pleased. If you have picky kids, but still want to add some flavor give this a try.

I grilled chicken for my family using this seasoning. Usually my family loves the season I use when grilling. This time it was not a hit. As my younger son, who is 18, said "chicken was great but not a fan of the seasoning." my oldest said he didn't like the seasoning. It's definitely different and I've heard some people say they love it! It's just not for my family who really doesn't have picky eaters.
