Grill Mates Seasoning, Smash Burger, 2.85 oz Bottle

I really enjoyed this seasoning in my option the spices were just the right touch to go on a burger and that says a lot. I was even thinking about using the seasoning for some of my other foods as well. I will be definitely be using this on my burgers.

The new grill meats, classic smash seasoning is great when grilling but also great for sautéing and frying. We used McCormicks grill mates smash burger to make hamburgers. To my surprise, everyone liked it. I am not much of a pepper person and my kids are not use to pepper because I do not use pepper, but I kept that in mind when seasoning the burgers. The kids did notice that I used something different, but they said they liked it. My husband loved it, said it reminded him of his past when his mom use to make hamburgers. I am not much of a pepper person, but I did enjoy it. I was curious and used it to season some.chicken and made fajitas. Thay worked out great. Would definitely use again, but it has a lot of pepper, so keep that in mind if you are not a pepper person, when you are seasoning your burgers.

I do feel that the flavor of the burgers taste appropriate unless you shake anything more than a little on each burger. The salty flavor drowns out the seared ground burger flavor.

This is a good burger meat seasoning. It is very black Pepper heavy which is nice if you enjoy black pepper. It's a mix of all your real basic seasonings like black Pepper salt and garlic powder. Very convenient if you don't want to add all of these separately. Other than that nothing too special but I do like that it's more on the coarse side not so fine and powdery.

As a family that loves to experience with many different seasonings, this one felt to be a little off balance in my opinion. The pepper in the mix was a little bit of an overload and the salt was very minimal so I felt the flavors were hard to find. I tried it by itself and cooked into my meals.
