Grillfest 22.5” Kettle Charcoal Grill

I have used this grill two times and really enjoyed using it. It is spacious enough for six large hamburgers with room to spare! The warming rack came in handy when it was time to melt cheese on the hamburgers. My favorite feature is the hinged lid. I have had other grills before where the lid comes off and I need to figure out where to put a hot lid. No need to worry with this beauty. It also has a high black gloss porcelain-enameled finish, which helped with even heat distribution. The charcoal grid is far enough from the cooking grid to keep the food from burning.The ash catcher not only collected ash, but it also prevented the grease from dripping on the ground. Though it had quite a few pieces to assemble, the directions were fairly straightforward. I accidently cross threaded a nut and bolt but it all worked out. Just make sure you have the parts in the right spot before screwing them in so you don't have to fix your mistakes like me :-) The cooking grid looked like it had been dipped in the enamel coating and it didn't quite cover the whole grid but it held up just fine with the heat. I definitely recommend this grill!

grill space is good, cooks fast, use vents and close lid,flames spark even with lid closed due to shape if vents are opened too much 😳!¡!

This is a awesome grill. It was really easy to assemble and didn't take long. It's sturdy and well made. It doesn't take up a huge amount of space, but has a good size cooking surface. This grill would be the perfect size for a small lanai or backyard. Also great for small families. I recommend it.

My family and I have enjoyed our grill this weekend. One thing I will say, is that the grill came in many pieces and my husband was a bit aggravated with all the parts to put together. However, it was not difficult to put together and he managed just fine getting it together. It sits level on the wheels and legs. The wheels are plastic and we decided we should be careful moving it around because they do not seem like they are very sturdy, but for now, wheeling it around is no problem. The grill itself is sturdy and seems pretty well made. We have not had it long enough to report about how it holds up to weather conditions yet. We have our stored in our shed currently. There is a base for the coal to sit with out it sitting in directly into the base of the grill, it allowed just the right amount of air flow and we had no trouble starting the charcoal. The charcoal sits low enough that wind was not a issue as well. There is a catch plate underneath to catch the ash also. I was happy it was not dripping onto the concrete while grilling. It held the heat very well, I was pleasantly surprised because it happened to be chilly on one of the nights that we were grilling and we had no trouble getting our food cooked. The handle did not get too hot either, which was helpful when removing the lid or adjusting the location of the grill when we were done. The overall appearance of the grill is nice and shiny, black in color with a nice looking silver design on the front. Looks nice. We have cooked, bone in chicken thighs, steaks, boneless chicken and foil packet vegetables all with out sticking. The grate also washed clean with simple soap and water, did not give me trouble getting it cleaned off. If you are looking for a simple and easy to use charcoal grill, I would recommend giving this one a try. We really have enjoyed having it so far!

This grill was easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and made it simple. It's a good sized grill, if you only have a small family to feed. We used charcoal, and also some cherry wood chips for a nice smoking flavor, and it worked well. Cant wait until its warmer and we can use it more

This review is for the Grilfest Kettle Charcoal Grill. This is a cute little grill. We have only ever had propane grills in the past but we wanted a charcoal grill to have on hand especially during hurricane season here in Florida because it is a good backup to have to cook with in case there is a blackout and or a propane shortage. This grill is the perfect size for our family of 3 and it is actually meant to hold food for 4 to 6 people. We got the 22.5 inch one and it has a 398 square inch cooking area. It has a warming rack as well and a steel cooking grate. It features air vents in the lid. It has a hinged lid so it is easy to open with one hand while holding a plate in the other hand. It is easy to clean and also easy to transport. This little grill is perfect for a quick meal without having to lug out and fire up the big propane grill. I definitely would recommend this grill. The quality and the durability is great. I would definitely buy this grill again in the future. There are no complaints here at all.

The grill only took about 10 minutes to fully assemble because they literally have letters and pictures to show you what piece goes where, I appreciated that. I was nervous about the grill working correctly because whomever delivered the product tossed the box pretty badly so there were some scratches and dents I noticed while putting it together. The grill so far is easy to clean, I've used it about 2-3 times. It's just the right size to feed my small to midsize family. The heat does stay inside if you screw the lid nice and tight. It let in just enough wind to keep the fire blazing but not put it the fire out. The overall size was for me because I did not want a large grill taking up so much space. The tray that sits underneath the actual grill was a wee bit difficult to latch on. It scraped the grill a bit but not bad enough to really see. I recommend this girl for anyone who wants to save themselves from heating up the house and wants to have a small bbq for 6-8 people. Or anyone who may live in a smaller town home or Corp and want a space saving grill.

Poor quality! One major missing part.

Yikes. This grill came with something wrong with almost every piece. It is very flimsy. My husband is skeptical if this will last until next year. Was easy to put together once we bent the pieces back to where they were supposed to be. Cooked well, but I feel like it's not worth the money on the quality. I do not recommend. Could only post 2 photos of product but there are way more bent pieces to this grill. Disappointed
