excelent for flavor
soaked in water for open grill,I use a chip box for closed smoker.the zip close bag is excellent.dont need much, to add flavor .only used on chicken and pork ,is very tasty for asparagus

GOOD IF YOUR FIRE IS NOT TOO HOT
If your fire is too hot these will burn right up in no time. Best suggestion is to soak these in water over night not just a couple hours. But the apple flavor is great for smoking meat low and slow such as ribs.
