gas grill bricks
I have been looking to get some grill bricks for my gas grill for a while. In my search online I was looking at a few different sites I shop and compare and when I looked at Walmart this time you had the Lava rocks in a 7 lb bag, I thought it might take 2 and at the price it was still a great deal. I got what I ordered and it only took 1bag so I took the 2nd bag back and no questions got my refund. I love to shop Walmart to save money and the free to store shipping can't be beat!!!

I used them in a planter of orchids to cover a dish that contains a pond mister and it looks just wonderful

Lava Rock for propane grill
For their price the lava rock is perfect for what I needed, placing a grate over my propane burner and covering with lava rock for better heat distribution and more even cooking. I like how, when juices/fat from food drip onto the lava rock it smokes and flares up, giving a more authentic grilled flavor.

Works well
It was difficult to find lava rock for our gas grille locally, so I was happy to find this on Walmart.com. Only complaint is that some of the "rocks" were so small that they could fall through the rock grate.

Ok, but some quality control needed.
Good, clean lava rock for my bbq. Only complaint is that some pieces were too small and fell through the grate. Also, some didn't appear to be pumice and were rock instead.

Lava Rocks Not Uniform Size
The lava rocks received were not uniform in size. Some rocks were too small and fall through the barbeque rack that holds the rocks above the burner. There is approximately 25% wastage. These rocks should be 'graded and sized' more carefully since they are sold for a specific purpose.
