Grmin Nuvi Portable Friction Mount

I find this to stay in place nicely, I also really like that it has the attachment so that I shouldn't have the gps falling off of the windshield or other type of nav mat I've used in the past.

This Garmin GPS dash mount holder works great. The suction windshield mounts, previously used, were falling off constantly, and none of the tips I found online worked for cleaning and securing the plastic suction cups. This non-skid beanbag friction mount is heavy enough to stay in place and has worked wonderfully. Since purchasing this, I've never had a problem with my GPS staying in place, or the holder slipping. Good construction, very functional and I would recommend it to those having problems with the suction cup windshield mount units. Excellent alternative.

It holds the Garmin on the dash.

I wanted something to attach the Garmin to besides the suction cup mount that came with the product. This Friction mount works great. Able to place just where I need it. Especially helpful for those wearing transition or bi-focal lenses as you can look through the proper area of the lens to view Garmin. Would highly recommend.

This is a great accessory for your GPS. I have a problem with my leather interior breathing and leaving a residue on my windows so suction cups don't stick to well for long after I clean the windows. Nothing is more annoying than when you’re driving the your GPS falls off your windshield on the floor or lap. Only problem is when you take off hard from the light in my GTO like anything else that isn’t bolted down will go flying.
