Ground Nutmeg Powder - 3 oz. ? Versatile Spice For Seasoning Sweet and Savory Dishes ? Dubble O Brand

I was trying my hand at making homemade apple cider. I've done two batches so far. In the first batch, I added more nutmeg than recommended, and this product really delivered flavor—plenty of nutmeg flavor. The second batch, I was lighter on the nutmeg, and it was too weak for my taste. I haven't made a third batch yet. And no, I don't follow any specific recipe. I just use the grandmother's way—pinch of this, dash of that, and a bit more of something else. Regardless of how it turns out, the apple cider was nice but could use some tweaking.

Double O Brand Nutmeg is packaged in a 7-ounce container and smells very fresh. In fact, ours has an expiration date of December 2025. Nutmeg comes from the seed of the Myristica fragrans tree, native to Indonesia. It's often used in cooking and baking and is believed to have various health benefits, including aiding in pain relief, digestion, cognitive health, sleep, and oral health. I plan to utilize it in my morning coffee and eggnog, as well as in baking and cooking. I recommend this nutmeg brand; the quality is good, the packaging is top-notch, and the price represents solid value.

I'm always searching for spices that either taste better or offer a better deal. So far, I'm happy with this choice. It's fresh and flavorful, and to my inexperienced taste buds, it's just as good as anything I've tried shopping online or locally. I've used it in cookies and even to slightly flavor some coffee and hot chocolate. The size feels like it's going to last most casual users quite a while.  

Sure... it's just nutmeg, but it's 100% nutmeg, grown in Indonesia and processed in the USA. I tend to use nutmeg frequently since I love to bring out flavors… and not just salt like many restaurants; I'm talking about real flavor from real spices. Nutmeg combined with cinnamon really enhances dishes!! This package smelled fresh, was sealed well, and is a great size.

This is my first experience with a Dubble O spice brand, and I'm quite impressed. The nutmeg comes in a sizable, sealed container. The powder is super fine and of high quality! I sprinkle a bit of nutmeg on my chai tea every morning, and it's delicious! We also use it on sweet potatoes and yams for a flavor boost. Really enjoy it! Hope my feedback and photos help!

It's a big container, much larger than what I usually purchase, so even considering that ground nutmeg typically lasting 3-4 years (this container expires 12/25), I'm planning to share some. The package was delivered securely sealed.

Nutmeg, like many things, has become quite pricey. It's a staple in my cooking, baking, and for whipping up hot chocolate on chilly nights. Usually, I spend nearly $3 for a tiny shaker. This one is WAY more cost-effective given the amount you get. It's sure to last quite a while. As for the taste and aroma, it's just as good as what I've been buying locally. The price really makes it a clear winner.

Dubble O might be a smaller brand, but this is the second of their spices I've tried. Both have been fresh and high quality. I'm quite pleased with their offerings. This nutmeg has an expiration date extending to December 2025.

The product showed up during the rain but was left outside in a paper delivery pouch. I worried it would be wet since there was water inside the cap and leaking out. But the product stayed dry. It tastes fresh and is of reasonable quality.  

I'm a big fan of nutmeg, but it tends to sit a long time on shelves, so I really value the freshness of this one. You get a decent amount, so most will have a nice supply (just be sure to use it before it starts to lose its spark). The price is way friendlier than what you'd find at the usual grocery stores and it has such a rich flavor, nothing dull or unpleasant here.
