GTD58EBSVWS 7.4 cu. ft. Capacity with Sensor Dry Electric Dryer

Only been a few weeks since we bought this dryer but so far so good. Love the lint trap, so much easier to clean then our last one. This model doesn't come with a buzzer to let us know when the load is done so we've had to get used to that, not a real problem.

Based on the 3 weeks of use, the dryer's operation and performance meet my expectations. The low noise level during operating is a bonus. There is no to evaluate this before purchase.

Good capacity for what I need it for. Lint trap a little on the small side. About half the size of what I had before, but works well. Nice that the light inside stays on longer than my last dryer so I can see the clothes while folding. Dries just fine.

So far it’s performing as expected and as desired. I’ve only processed about 15-20 loads so it is way too early for a 5 Star rating. That would take about 3000 loads. I’m optimistic at this point.

Dryer works well. Gave a four due to the sensor to save energy. So far clothes do not completely dry in this mode. I shut the eco button off and clothes are dry.

This dryer has a high capacity and the basic settings. Nothing fancy, which is what I was going for. Sometimes the clothes don't get completely dry, but that has been the case with any dryer I've ever owned. I recommend this product.

Sensor either doesn't work or doesn't sense that great, after 55min drying it's still humid and needs a second drying session. If I adjust the settings to high or in bedding it dries but not regular setting

I'm disappointed in this dryer. It feels flimsy, the door doesn't shut unless you bend over and push it at the bottom and it frequently takes two cycles to dry everything. It's also the noisiest dryer I've owned. It doesn't match the quality of our other GE appliances.

Had this dryer for 8 orn9 months The buzzer/ bell barely makes any noise on high. You cannot hear it from other areas in the house. Such as upstairs when laundry room is downstairs. The wrinkle prevent only continues for possibly 10 minutes tops. And given that I cann hear when its done the clothes are inevitably wrinkled when I get there. The clothes come out wrinkled often regardless. I had none of these issues with the Samsung we used to have Also it doesnt dry the clothes well and takes multiple cycles. Specifically delicate and medium cycles. High randomly doesnt work well either I do not recommend this dryer to anyone. Its also not smart so there's no way to know via my phone except to set a reminder myself. I did know it wasnt smart, but didnt think Id need it. Since there's no way to hear the sound of the buzzer when your shopping there was no way to know aboy this. Overall not good and wish to replace it. GE- can you help me?

Bought both the washer a dryer as a set was installed on 01-09-2026 and as of 01-11-2026 I am having a problem with the dryer not powering on I've owed alot of GE product and never had an issue in the past so I figured the washer and dryer would be a no brainer purchase. Iv only did 2 loads of laundry in the dry and already this so as of right now I cannot give this a good review i will gladly change my review if and when dryer is fixed .
