Its beautiful I took a picture to show that the outer layer, the layer that will be exposed to the skin, is smooth fabric and the inner layer looks to be waterproof. When i read the specifics about this products i found it a little confusing, the discription reads 'top layer is made from comfortable fabric' 'our underlayer is 100% waterproof' which sounded to me like there was only one layer that was waterproof, hey nowadays with all the deceitfullness going around you have to be careful. I took a chance can always return with Walmart. I am very happy with the quality and the appearance.

So we bought a new duvet and also got a new kitten who immediately peed on our goose down duvet theory is she smells the feathers so I bought this it isn't super thick or heavy and didn't ruin the experience of the down comforter that was my biggest concern has ties in the corners to keep it on straight and I just put my duvet cover over it

It makes it not really breathable but works great

Very good quality. The only negatives are it is hot and it does make noise.

Difficult to tie the comforter into the 4 corners of the duvet color. I don't like that the comforter does not stay in place. Perhaps the company could include 4 patches of velcro to attach the comforter more securely and prevent it from moving around inside the duvet. Also, the strings in the 4 corners should be a few inches longer. Nonetheless, I do like the duvet because I am allergic to dust mites and this product helps me getting an "itch free" night of sleep

this is a really convenient solution if you want to avoid washing your comforter as often. i took off one star just because i wish the material on both the inside and outside were more of a typical blanket material because it would help with keeping the comforter from moving around despite tying the corners. i use it regardless and put a regular duvet cover over it too.

The cover has ties in the inside to attach to the comforter so it stays in place, but it lacks ties on the outside to attach to the duvet cover itself so slips around on the inside
