It fits the bowl nicely and it can moved around the bowl so you can get a good angle to pour in the mixer. It seems pretty sturdy and stays in place.

My original shield broke. This one takes up less room. Easy to use. Can easily put it in the bowl to store with the beaters and get my cover on it.

i have a Sears stand up mixer. it fits it perfectly

The kneading hook on my Kitchenaid mixer bumps it and must be held while using. I have a 4.5 qt. mixing bowl.

I thought this was the whole lid that had the pouring shoot attached. But not at all, will not work for what I needed. I need to stick to Rubbermaid Brand!
