I LOVE these crispy tostado shells. If I'm the only one wanting some lunch, I can heat up a can of refried beans (my secret is to mash them into melted salted butter. You can make them as thick, creamy and delicious as homemade!!). I toast a few of these shells in the oven and I spread beans, a little sour cream and grated cheese on them %26 lunch is ready! Yum! Or on Mexican Food night, with all the ingredients heated, chopped and grated, you can fully load all your favorites on them, or just pour melted queso on these than have been crisped in the oven. I always keep these in the pantry, ready at a moments notice!
My kids love these for tostada's and they also will use these to dip into cheese dip lol I love the price of these and you get so many in a pack very kid friendly they can make there own and enjoy putting what ever they like on them .. convenient especially in today's world.
These Guerrero tostadas are the best I've tasted. There is NO comparison between Old El Paso, or Ortega. Both of those have no taste, except maybe like cardboard. I will never buy those again. The only issue I see is packaging. I get my groceries delivered. The first two times, I got good shoppers and tostadas were 99% unbroken. This last time he put a gallon of water on top. Guess what they look like, lol. Going to have to call store, but the tostadas arent at fault. These are great for crunchwraps! TacoBell sells a crunchwrap kit, tostadas are like cardboard and usually stale, the Tortillas are gross. Buy these tostadas and you will not be disappointed.
I love these! I prefer these over chips because they hold up well in soups, chili, nachos, casseroles ,salads and salsa and they are not over salted like most brands of chips and they are affordable.
While some of the tostadas were broken, the price was so good that it didn't matter. My wife would take a pre-formed taco shell and break it into a flatter surface so, we got these and while some of them had broken edges, the price difference made it a non-issue. By the way, the broken/chipped ones are still usable for nachos.
I like a corn tostada. I like to put some grated cheese and then drizzle some chunky salsa and sour cream on the top and eat them like a mini pizza. I like the crunch and these are crunchy. I like the corn flavor. The only downside is if you're ordering them with your grocery delivery from Walmart, you're likely to have some in the package cracked or broken. Walmart has been good about reimbursing me if several are not usable for my purpose. They don't have any flavoring on them so they're bland and then you can add anything or nothing on top. I recommend.
These are really tasty! Most of them stayed whole and didn't crack which was great. I like making these when I don't really want to cook but also want to feel better about what I am eating.
My family enjoys this product, it's tasty and a great bang for your buck, but please, please, please be more cautious when packing and delivering suck item. I am now going to have to use the entire bag as strips and chips because they are all broken.
it isn't so much the product, or perhaps that is the issue. unthinking ppl, careless ppl who maybe have easier lives, in fact they do. this is a home who counts on making meals stretch. shamefully each tortilla is a meal a day for us. if i wanted specks of crushed doritos, i would save up to get them. but i can't. its rather cruel that one would not think to omit damaged food from hard saved money for families that must go without. plz, who is dropping the ball? eating is an elusive luxury for some. please for the sake of some in need, move with more intention and thoughtfulness. (no photos, i can't afford a phone)
Mine arrived broken and crushed, Id suggest better packaging for delivery orders so my review is based on that, I will say when able to properly use them they have a good taste.
