These are our go to tortillas. They taste great plain and steamed or we like to fry them lightly in avocado oil. They keep in the refrigerator a good amount of time. I also appreciate the variety of quantity of sizes they sell them in. some times we only need very few. Other times is a family gathering and we need a lot. We keep them in a resealable bag in the refrigerator.
This brand is one of those brands that just my favorite and I won't accept anything else! Taste, quality, texture is as close to homemade as Ive ever had! I make enchiladas, Flautas, toquitos, taco, and even eat them with my breakfast! If you havent tried this brand you really should I also love their flour tortillas and their huge grande size burrito tortillas.
This particular corn tortilla brand, from all others compared, has the least amount of lip tripping sounding additional ingredients which neither premade or fesh made tortillas needor integrity of flavor and texture. Aside from the labor intensive home made versions, this one is handier and healthier at least for the median range store pricing.
I use these sometimes instead of bread. Put a little butter on 'em and they're very good and adds to your fiber needs for the day.
As shown on the website, using an image of a T-shirt, these tortillas measured 8.5 inches in diameter. They do not - if you measure the size of the bag they were in, then you get 8.5 inches. Quality is ok, but inaccurate description of their size did not meet my cooking needs.
If you love tortillas that crumble in the bag, you'll love Guerrero!
I bought these tortillas many times and each time I'm thinking it will be the last time. Many of them are broken and they are not very fresh.
I ordered big tortillas it came small
I've been making homemade taquitos for years and these are, hands down, the worst tortillas I've ever used. Well, to be specific, TRIED to use. The first one disintegrated after the initial 1/4 roll. It peeled, cracked and developed holes, which made it completely unusable. The second, third and fourth did the exact same thing so I finally stopped driving myself crazy. Waste of time and money and a destroyed dinner. I froze the filling and used it later with some quality tortillas.
