Great product

Great so far.

Bob641 April 1, 2019

I was afraid these socks were going to be very thin and not very cushiony since they are advertised as being lightweight. I wanted some soft but cool socks to wear with workbooks in the hot summers in Arkansas. Only worn them once so far but they have good cushion on the bottom and are thinner on top. I think they will be great if they last. Time will tell.

they are real

It is tough to get excited over socks, but these are the real deal. I had ordered one pair of these socks to see how they would last, and was surprised at how long they DID last. I ordered thre more pair....I am still wearing the first pair, which are still intact.

Pleasantly Surprised

I bought Rocky S2V boots and was concerned with heel movment as known for with the Rocky. Put on the NanoGlide socks and the heel movement was nearly stopped. The fit was near perfect. Then over the NanoGlide the mens HuntRite Midweight Merino Wool Blend Crew Socks and wow a very comfortable fit. Doubt I will get heel rub or boot wear with this combination. Maybe the HuntRite's will wear out but I don't expecte any other wear to occur. : )

Throw out cotton socks and use these!

Yarp February 19, 2021

Guide gear light weight socks. These socks breathe well but not much wool in them so good for temperature range 40-75 degree F. Hiking in this temp range was good, no overheating, no sweaty feet, no blisters . I will replace my cotton / polyester socks with these .

Very good socks!

Mike October 15, 2018

Best I have found! I have not yet found a need to return under guarantee. Other socks with "guarantees" have failed. I I found out how good those promises were (hint: NOT) But I have done business with SG for some years now so I am confidant that IF they fail, I'll be able to simply send them back for another pair or credit toward the next pair. WARM, too!!

Good fit, great quality.

Rawhide July 6, 2016

Come in sizes to fit your feet and no toe seam problems. They are thick and tough enough for work and walking, but light enough for SW temperatures in the 100's. I've had some of these for two years and I can't distinguish them from the newer ones. No itching problems as with some socks. I use them in boots.

Great sock for a reasonable price.

Smiling Jack October 15, 2017

I ordered six pairs of these Oatmeal Lifetime socks, during the month of February of 2015. They have held up very well, considering all the miles I have walked in them, not including daily use. I walk often around one thousand miles, yes that is one of my favorite past times. Walking with the dogs on the back roads of Kansas. These socks have done very well and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable and durable sock.I am in the process of returning the six pairs of the Oatmeal Lifetime socks, I have to return them, they have holes in them now, the many miles of walking have taken a major toll on them.

Not as Described

Walker August 18, 2015

These seem like good quality, but they are not as described. I would not call these lightweight at all. The entire foot area is heavily padded and thick. This makes for high comfort but not light weight (or thin). Also, they are VERY elastic. Therefore the foot and ankle portion squeezes tightly around you. The high spandex content makes these quite warm (again - not what one expects from 'light weight' socks). Because I see 'quality' as meeting the needs for what something was designed, these are very low quality as they are not lightweight.
