Please look no more. I've spent hours reading reviews and hundreds $$ on the kid's square tables with high back chair over the years that get cracked and chipped easily and don't wipe down without losing the finish. I took a chance on this set because it was wood. I was skeptical but so happy I did. It's a really comfortable height for little and older kids alike. The seat is a great width all around. My 2 year old and 4 year old both fit comfortably with years to go before outgrowing. I'm 5'6” and I can sit on these stools comfortably and confidently that I won't break them. Really great quality and construction plus they wash and wear so well. It's a very smooth surface and it's not made of anything that will peel or flake. My kids are at home with me all day and so we really put our stuff to use and these are hanging in there. It looks really modern and blends well with my style. I'm really impressed with this brand's quality!

Very sturdy, easy to put together, excellent height for growing toddler/kids. My boys are almost 4 and will be able to enjoy this table for more year. We had a smaller plastic round table that I was sad to retire and a square one they never used. The boys prefer the backless and rounded shape. Excellent look, price, and functionality.
