Hours of fun!
Holy Cow! This game is SO much fun!!! BUT beware: the game play is NOTHING like the original guitar hero franchise. The guitar fingering is TOTALLY different. There are 6 keys, but they are designed to be more like a real guitar. There are 3 upper keys and 3 lower keys, and the frets and indicators are no longer colored coordinated. Unlike previous games, you do not get a break between each song, you have to play the entire set (unless you pause it) before you get your final score. The "live" background can also be very distracting as well. One new future is the GHTV. It is basically MTV with music videos you can play to. That can get really distracting too. Over all, I give this game 5 stars!

Not a fan of GH Live.
I ordered this because I recently played an older version of this game at an arcade and wanted to play it at home. I did not know that the controls were configured differently. Also I didn't realize the format was also different. I prefer the older versions. They seem like more fun. I don't like the "live" aspect of this version. I should have done more research on this product before ordering. I will eventually get used to it but am not currently a big fan. I will probably but an old version on ebay.

The older version was a lot better.
My children prefered the old guitar version and also the kind of music. They didn't like the new guitar and the music.
