Guitar Hero Van Halen (Playstation 2)

I recieved one of the first copies back in October with a mail in rebate after buying GH5. Mine plays perfect with no problems and has never locked up on me. There must have been a bad batch go out with the final release to the public in December. I'm sure they will get this problem fixed. When they do, you ought to buy this game, because it rocks. It doesn't cover any material from Sammy Hagar but, I'm sure there will be a sequel released in the future. The recordings are masters from the band and sound great.

I am a HUGE Van Halen fan and have been waiting for this game for some time. I bought the VH Guitar Hero for the PS2. I had to take the game back because it didn't work. In the single mode it only played a few tracks and the other modes it didn't work. In short, the game kept freezing up on me and didn't work. After spending 2 hours watching the game freeze up on me I had to return it. I will probably try this game again when I upgrade to a PS3 but if you have a PS2, it won't work. Read the previous posts!!! P.S. I still love VH and wish the game worked :(

Is like the other guitar heroes, but this time with van halen, unfortunately there are no sammy haggar songs.

I was excited about getting this because I love Van Halen but was very disappointed because it does not work! I am returning this item.

i got this game for christmas and it never played, kept locking up. took it back today and got a replacement...it did the same thing. all other games i got or already have play fine in the ps2. will take it back and get money back on it to put towards something that hopefully will be better than this game!

i bought this game for a new years party and was very excited. when i got to the party we put the game in and it loaded and loaded and loaded and froze. we thought we had just purchased a faulty game but it turns out that that was not true. we returned it to the store to get a new one and that one didnt work either. this game is horrible and doesnt even work. save your money for something worth buying.

I bought the game even though the reviews told me not to i wanted to see if they were lying... i know i'll never do it again the game did the same thing that the others said it just kept loading and loading so i took it back and they didn't have any more so i couldn't get my money back either so i had to get another game WWE 2010 so take all of our words for it and don't buy i got a wii for Chrismas so i guess i have to buy it for that but i don't have any guitars 40 bucks wasted
