The safe is very convenient and secure to prevent nosy or curiuos little and big people from mishandling a loaded weapon. I do not feel a weapon can be stored safe from a true , sincere and determined theif unless in a true rated and reviewed floor safe made by a large gunsafe manufacturer.

Everything it should be, only compliant is Cant use a semi with Halosun on it. Not enough room. Have to mount a reddot under barrel

It is just what I was looking for

I was a little disappointed by the quality, seems a little on the flimsy side but it's not a safe just a metal box to keep the gun safe from little hands. wouldn't take much to open with a pry bar. but it does the job I intended it for and that is to keep the gun safe and available.

I purchased this to mount to my head board so I could have quick access to it and still keep the kids out. It works great for this purpose. You can create your own code up to 6 entries. An entry can be one , two , three or all four buttons at the same time. So the 4 buttons can actually give you a lot of combination possibilities. The key pad is a little touchy. If I try to enter my code too fast it locks up and I have to let it reset so I can do it again. It is loud when it drops and a crow bar could easily get you access, but like I said it's meant to keep the kids out!

I think it will keep kids and hit and go thieves from the gun, but a pro will get the safe and gun. My only limitation is that I cannot have my flash light or infrared sight installed on the gun and store it in the device. Not a super major shortcoming, but I wish it would hold them. A night home intruder will not lose the cover of darkness.

DO NOT BUY! Bought this September 2019, get to install and use it Jan 2020. Probably at the most closed and opened less than 20 times. Today, it won't open using the keypad so good thing it came with a key. Changed the battery and all it does is make a screeching sound. Keypad won't work, tried removing battery for 10 minutes, still just screeching sound when fresh battery is installed.
