GUNVAULT NANO VAULT GUN SAFE BLACK

I got this for my daughter who is in college. This is a perfect small safe for her expensive jewelry and cash. Frankly, this will NOT stop any real professional thief who can easily cut the wire with a lock cutter and pry then it open with a hammer and crow bar. But it will definitely deter some "friends" or strangers getting into her room and just steal her valuables. Also, this is a good size metal enclosure for your midsize/compact pistol like a Glock 19. But anything bigger like the G17 or a full size 1911 will not fit. Neither will any mid size revolver (the thickness of the safe is the issue). Once again, it is a good safe to keep the kids from getting to your gun but any smart teenager probably can find his/her way to break into the safe, given the time and the right tool. The metal is thick enough to stop screw drivers and knives, but a hammer and crow bar will easily destroy the locking mechanism.

The Nanovault 100 is a nice lock box for the price and intended purpose. It's not what I would call a vault. It is constructed with a medium weight mild steel which is good enough for locking valuables inside your car trunk or under the seat, using the cable. It does not lock tight enough to keep someone from getting it open if they have a screwdriver and enough time, but I don't believe it is intended for that. I think the purpose of the Nanovault is for temporary storage in a relative secure area and to make it difficult, not impossible, for someone to take your valuables. For the price, it is a good value.

a small gun vault for my M&P Shield 40. padding holds th gun securely and room for a couple magazines. inside deminsion is 5 5/8 x 7 3/8 x 1 1/2. it is almost (but not quite) big enough for my Ruger P85.

Great vault for my handgun and cash while traveling in my car. Cable enables me to attach it under my seat or in the trunk, comes with an extra key.

Does what it's supposed to do, locks the gun up. Keep it out of site and the key in a safe place and you'll be fine. Not meant to be a deterrent from thieves, more of a safety product to keep away from children and for locking it up when you travel. For me, keyed safes are much more reliable than something that depends on a battery or an outlet.

The NV100 is not fancy, but it will get the job done. Fits my KAHR CW9 like it was made for it, with room for a spare magazine.

I wanted a gun safe that was big enough to hold my handgun and an extra magazine. It also comes with a cable to secure the safe wherever you like in your car. Not a bad deal for $23!

Nothing special. Took a few days longer than other purchases the same day. Arrived in good condition with keys. Will hold either my LCP or LC9 easily, Springfield XD just barely; nothing larger. Good to lock out prying young hands, but not a secure box to keep a thief away. (Always put even locked boxes out of reach of all children.)

Great little box for the money. Fits only compact hand guns, but that is what I purchased it for. Love the cable to secure the vault in my pick up which will be handy.
