The probes were 2 in order, each was packaged separately in a case for easy and safe storage.

I use these thermometers in my business, they seem to last me about a year before I need to replace them. I have tried changing the batteries in them but after a while they just don't read the correct temperature. I can have them both reading the same item and each one will read differently but overall, they are decent for the price. One review mentioned that they do not come with batteries but every time I have ordered they are included.

I purchased 5 of these thermometers. One of them came with batteries that were not working. One of them the buttons were in-operable, I could not change from C to F degrees because only the on off button worked. And I had another one when used over the grill could not handle the heat and started to melt while I was holding it. How can you make a thermometer that measures heat, not be able to withstand the heat while using it? Makes no sense to me. I would never buy this product again, three out ot the five I purchased failed on me, I am afraid to use the other two, not something I can depend on.
