I have an allergy to metal and these forks allow me to enjoy my meals that require a fork in the mouth...I know sounds weird but really that's it...

These white heavy duty plastic forks are great and are "keepers" and washable for long term use. They are much more sturdy and heavier than the fast food restaurant variety or the cheaper ones I have seen for sale at most stores.

These don't seem 'heavy duty' at all. They break quickly.

At first it seemed that these forks were stronger than the less expensive white ones. They were definitely longer which was why I brought them but when I began using them in the microwave (which I was able too with the cheaper white ones), they warped and to be tossed in the trash. If you want a product that is larger than the less expensive white forks but don't need them in a microwave, buy these by all means.

These are not heavy duty, Kroger has heavy duty ones that are far superior to this.

Ordered as it states HEAVY DUTY. Wanted stronger ones for what we were having. These are no different than the regular ones. Highly disappointed and would return if not needed the next day. Had to order as Walmart doesn't carry any in store! Should have spent more and bought different ones.
