Guy Fieri Medium Original Salsa: Old Skool, 16 oz

When I took my first bite of this product I was put off by the strong taste of chili powder but after a couple of tries I decided I really like the different flavor and so does my 17yo son who is beyond picky. We're ordering it two jars at a time now.

Best salsa ever!

Our whole family loves this salsa. It is very mild, so if you are looking for heat this isn't the ticket. I normally prefer a hotter salsa, however, all the great spices make up for lack of heat. Nice tomato flavor, lots of cumin. It's nice and thick so it stays on a chip without dribbling all down your shirt.

Might be OK as spaghetti sauce, but makes for a pretty bad salsa. Rated 2 stars because its edible, just not good.

Recent trip to the store and my favorite brand of Salsa was out. So I tried the store brand. It said it was medium, but there was no heat at all and had sugar in it for some reason. Tasted like a Mexican marinara. So I went to anther store and again my favorite brand was out (Herdez Medium) and this store had a very limited selection. I saw Guy Fieri's Salsa and thought I would give it a try. I've watched the guy cook and he knows what he is doing, but this horrible, horrible concoction went right in the trash. Should have known it was going to be bad when they couldn't spell school right. Can't make Salsa right either. To be blunt, it tastes like the filling from the frozen burritos I use to buy when I was young and broke. This is obviously a corporate recipe that he allowed he name to be attached to. I wanted salsa, what I got was something labeled salsa, but not sure why.

Was expecting a salsa but got something a bit sweet with no heat and tastes almost exactly like spaghetti sauce. It was quite a bummer as I watch Guy's shows and the fact he put his name on this makes me really question his taste lol.

This salsa is really a poor effort from a trained chef. It tastes and smells more like spaghetti sauce than actual salsa.

It tastes like cheap, bland, spaghetti sauce. A charitable one start rating. It sucks!
