GVODE Shave Ice Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixers 8 Ice Molds 2 Blades

I love coke slushies so this was a must for me. I have to say it was a learning curve but thats more my fault not the company. The fill line is a must on the ice pucks. I did half of the pucks dr pepper other four ice. The dr pepper ones that I went past the suggested line over flowed again this is my fault. It said dont over fill. oops After using the shaver a bit I began just holding a red solo cup under it to catch ice worked great. You can run the mixer on 10 even and still makes ice just faster. clean up was easy i just rinsed it in hot water. For soda slushies: I suggest making ice pucks putting soda over it after you shaved ice for best slushies. The soda pucks can crumble when leaving the mold and you get twice as much ice from the water pucks. I tempered the ice pucks for 10 mins but found hitting the bottom hard with my knife sharpener got them out easier. They get stuck in the molds maybe dip the edges in warm water. Other than that great product will save tons this year we love slushies. Instructions had pictured and even recipes. I think like anything more use it gets easier but all in all I was impressed

Tried this ice shaver attachment this afternoon. I was impressed by the performance of this attachment. The owner's manual was clear and easy to understand. The photos included were most helpful. I wanted to try shaved ice to duplicate “snow cream”. I was happy with the results. The ice was very similar to snow and the taste paralleled that of snow cream. The attachment was easy to install and easy to use. I look forward to enjoying snow cream periodically whether we receive snow fall or not. I will be trying other shaved ice concoctions with this great attachment!

Very easy to use. Comes with 6 ice cups %26 lids. I suggest filling them and leaving in the freezer so they're ready when you need them. I tried regular ice cubes and it works just not as well. Was able to make 3 small snow cones with one cup block of ice. Would also work for ice slush drinks.

I like that it has different variations. I need to find some recipes. I think it would be a nice cool snack with some toppings. It was very easy to use and wash. See pictures for the ice coarseness.

This is perfect for the summer! It fits my older KitchenAid stand mixer with no issues. It's amazing how quickly you can make the shaved ice. Definitely worth it!

I have been recommending this attachment to my friends with KitchenAid mixers for some summer fun with the kids (although we started using it in winter and the kids were asking for shave ice every night). It's a great addition! Well-made and fits snugly on the KitchenAid. I did cut my finger cleaning it, but that's because I wasn't paying attention. The blade is very sharp.

Love the attachments! So much better than a different machine for everything. Comes with the cups to freeze your ice so perfect size ice every time. Has 2 different blades depending on what type of drink or snowcone you want to make. It is for pouring out of not whisk in container. Easy clean up. Most of it is dishwasher safe. This is a ice shaving attachment so you wont be making anything for your dehydrator or any kind of dough for scones or anything like that. But you can make kid and adult friendly drinks with it at a great cost!

I absolutely love this! Perfect for when my grandchildren come.
