Kids had a ball!!!
First off when I opened it, it had a really strong plastic smell. It had to be aired our before the smell was tolerable. The quality is very cheap. It had multiple tears after a few minutes of use. The parts it came with are also flimsy and low quality. It is a fun concept and I wish the quality was better and it could have been a lot of fun for the kids.
Was excited to to get this product to test out for the summer but soon became disappointed in the quality. Set-up was relatively easy, we did need an air pump to inflate the launch slide portion of it. At first we didn't have the inflated launch slide blown up and it was great, we tested that and found that it is not needed, in fact it slows down the momentum and isn't really needed. We didn't inflate it the second day we used it. While the entire slide area does get wet, the spray of water is not nearly as strong as the picture indicates unless you squeeze the handle down at the end by the pool. The width, while claiming it's for 2 people, isn't really that wide. The slide part ripped down the center after the 2nd day of use by toddlers. Overall, it was fun for a few hours but the quality doesn't hold up for more than a few uses.
The set up process was relatively simple. I've been assembling a lot of kids toys lately so complicated instructions were not new to me but the nozzle for the hose was difficult to put on and it kept on getting detached. Once everything was up and running, the slide was fine. The material was on the cheaper side and didn't seem like it would hold up the rest of the summer.
Maybe I'm crazy....when we set ours up it didn't have the big part that's inflated....just the two lanes and "pool". It barely got wet and we tried it at two different house because we thought it may be a water pressure issue....clearly it wasn't.
Within using this a few times it has ripped down the middle between the lanes. Not even worth the money to only be able to use it three times.
at first my kids loved this thing. But after one use the seam split in the blow up part and it was losing air. seems like a defect because its not a hole. I am going to try and return this
Only had this setup for a few hours one afternoon before taking it down and all the grass underneath where it was ended up dying. I can only assume some sort of chemicals leeched from the product as it wasn't covering the grass for long enough to where it would have had an impact.
Broke after 1 use
Should have guessed. Last model slip n slide AT ALL on shelf at our local Walmart. Does not look/work like picture on the box (with orange top). Sprinkle holes poorly placed. Didn't wet the top. Poor guys had dry plastic burn on their knees! Lasted one day and popped at pool base, as others stated. Back to using dependable garden sprinkler for hot summer day cool off.
