This is our family's favorite go-to tahini for years, consistent quality, and it recently went from 15.9 oz to a full 16 oz - more bang for your buck! SUGAR-FREE DAIRY-FREE SALT-FREE SOY-FREE PEANUT-FREE HEALTHY FATS DECENT PROTEIN %26 IRON SAFELY STORES FOR YEARS Mild nutty flavor -- like sesame oil, bagels, decorating a sushi roll -- and a thinner, creamy consistency that's delicious on it's own or used in sweet or savory recipes - wether the tahini is added to a salad dressing, a smoothie, a sauce, or baking. A big win in vegan cuisine too. Tahini is always exceptional with Middle Eastern food (like drizzled over falafal), but it's also an excellent substitute for peanut butter if you have a sensitivity, allergy or a bare spot in the pantry. Apricot, blueberry, or fig jam pair well and American grape jelly or sliced fruit can work fine too. I like tahini drizzled over brown rice, or on raw vegebles or sweet potatoes, but it can also make ramen (soup) broth richer. *Remember to shake it really, really well...like a paint can and maybe store it upside down for a while...giving it a good shake now and then. Or stir it up upon opening.
yes! its cheaper than Publix and you get more compared to the brand i usually buy. this is just as good. love it for my hummus
It's a good tahini for hummus. The tahini needs to be vigorously stored prior to first use, but after that you should be good. I tend to use 1-2 cup of this tahini with 2 cans of chickpeas for my hummus and it turns out great.
if you're not familiar with TIHINI when you open the jar MUST STIR WITH SPOON until resolve the heavy condensed chunk takes time it has been settle oily on surface just stir and stir
This tahini is not meant to be eaten straight— I think the bad reviews are from people who didn't understand this. Mix up the tahini first! Add together (ideally mix with immersion blender): 1 cup of tahini with 1 cup water, 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tsp salt, 1.5 tsp granulated garlic. Now you're ready to dip your pita!
The best Thaini taste 👌 . you can really feel the sesame taste its clear smooth and easy to make , can make it as a paste, or a dressing for your healthy salad .
I haven't opened it yet. The packaging is very cute, looks like a little gift!
I really recommend this product. Excellent quality.
This product was actually expired at my Walmart. I actually sampled it and it tasted horrible. Something said to check the expiration date and it was sure enough expired. Do not get this product!
It was terrible!!! There is usually settlement on the bottom of the container, that a person is supposed to stir to blend the product together.. blending it together to make a thick paste.. then adding the tahini to "Hummus" or whatever recipe you would add it to. I'm very disappointing to have the product not meet the standard i hoped it would have.. Hopefully your company will make necessary adjustments to your Tahini . To honor your Customers with a quality product..
