Haier 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, Cools up to 250 Sq ft, Easy Install Kit & Remote Included, 115V

HVAC struggles to keep upper floor cool at all, so a window unit is needed during the summer to help out. Didn't realize how inefficient the old window unit was til we decided to try upgrading. Cools really well, remote is super handy. Light blinks to remind you to clean the filter occasionally. Really like there's an eco option or you can go full-blast "make it feel Arctic." It's held up well so far despite periods of 24/7 use during the summer. It cools a bedroom, but when the door is open it works well enough to affect the overall upstairs temp (modest square footage area) which is really handy. So glad we got it.

I bought this room a/c for my bedroom because Im a pre-menopausal woman with horrible hot flashes! And, boy, are they HORRIBLE! This a/c was actually a little big for my window, but, I made it work. So far, its a life saver!

this little air conditioner works great. I was worried that it would not be. but darn this thing is great. cools my bedroom in no time.

i just purchased this A/C in early JUNE 2024. just in time to put it through harsh hot weather. i installed it myself (I'm 67) after procrastinating. it gives off plenty of cold air. the only issue i don't like is when the unit is running, it sort of has like a muffled sound, as if it is holding back. it's not a quiet running A/C but i don't care as long as it works well. note: under the ac there is a small rubber plug that you can remove so that any water in the ac can escape. i found that out in the trouble shooting section of the instructions. upon researching this brand, i found that this used to be General Electric. when the unit is turned off, the settings automatically revert to original start, so you need to push the buttons all over again to set it on cool or speeds etc..

We couldn't go by the instructions throughout the installation but it still wasn't difficult. It cools really well, but it is pretty loud. No need for static noise to sleep by when you have this unit on. I have another Haier so chose this air unit because the other works so well (though it's not as loud).

it works great but you really only feel it if you are in close proximity

I am disappointed in this air conditioner. I have it in a small room and it does not cool like it should for what I paid for.I did not send it back because I cannot lift it to repack it. Also I bought it online so it qill be very difficult to return.

Very good ac unit only issue was one of the sides curtains broke really easily but other than that great for a small room also didn't come with her top bar..

Bought for a small bedroom. That doesn't need to be very cold. The ac runs nonstop, if you change the setting to eco mode, it never comes on. No matter the temperature it does not blow out cold air, only ever slightly cooler than warm air. Sadly, I can't return it cause I no longer have the box but I definitely think it's either broke or not worth it.
