"I have very damaged hair from heat and coloring, and after using this shampoo I noticed a big change in how my hair feels. The texture is smoother, less frizzy, and it feels more nourished from the roots to the ends. I love how gentle the formula is—it cleans without making my hair feel dry or stripped. After a few washes, my hair started to look healthier and softer, and even brushing became easier. The scent is pleasant and not too strong, which I like. Overall, I'm really happy with the results and I feel like my hair is slowly coming back to life."
Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo and conditioner are the only products I use on my bright blue hair. The color remains fresh for 2 months - that is better than any other product has ever done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of this product. Anything that can make color treated hair feel healthy is an A+ in my book. I believe that the conditioner is the best product in this lineup. I think it's the right weight, great smell and does wonderful things for color treated hair.
This is an okay smelling conditioner by Nexxus. I use it because I dye my hair and this is for color treated hair. The texture is creamy and the soap works well. I like the moisture it provides and my hair looks wonderful plus smells great! I use this on my color treated hair for safety and vibrancy. It seals in my color for up to forty washes. I use both shampoo and conditioner by Nexxus, together for great results.
My hair is fine and a little thin, and always has been. Thirty years ago, my stylist recommended Ensure for body and shine--and I was very happy with the product for many years. It was pink and had a distinctive grapefruit odor. A pea-sized dab was all that I needed. The current formulation gives neither the shine or the body the older formulation gave. It does condition the hair, so it is OK, but I'm not sure it is worth the premium I was always willing to pay for the old formulation. Does anyone at Nexxus read these?
Please...bring back the old ENsure-the peach colored, grapefruit smelling conditioner. I have never colored my hair and keep my hair cut short. I see a barber every 3 weeks. My hair is straight, full, but thin. I used the old Ensure for almost 30 years and my hair always looked great!
I am not impressed with this product! It consistently leaves my hair feeling greasy and weighted down. I thoroughly rinse my hair after using both the shampoo and conditioner and my hair feels heavy once it is dry. I want my hair to move freely once it is clean and that is not the case with product line. It the worst at my roots than at the ends. I do not appreciate feeling as if I need to rewash my hair right after I have just finished washing it.
Wow! I am on here trying to figure out what happended to my wonderful Nexus conditioner I have been using for over 26 years. It had a different name years ago I beleive. Like many others I have never colored my hair, quickly approaching my senior years, I went from having drab, lifeless hair to a head of hair that turns heads and brings compliment from strangers. Had to buy another bottle of my favorite conditioner and the bottle and name did not look quite right. After I used it my hair felt like I had put paste in it. I could not comb my hair, could not blow dry it without it turning into a tangled mess. I had to keep pulling the knots out! Then it was so heavy and lifeless. I am returning it and am hoping Nexus will bring back the pink, light, grapefruity conditioner that kept my hair gorgous for so many years.
Please bring back the original formula - peach color with a fresh grapefruit scent. The new formula does not compare in quality or scent. Why do companies insist on fixing what isn't broken? Pantene destroyed their Classic Care shampoo with a new formula, and Nexxus has done the same with this conditioner. Listen to your loyal consumers if you wish to have any left.
I have been a Nexxus user for 20 years...and am so saddened by the new Ensure formula. It is heavy and leaves my hair feeling "flat." The old formula was lightweight and left my hair shiney. The grapefruit was pefect. Also, it was a GREAT detangler. Why would you change such a great product?
