setting it up was simple. as soon as i plugged it in it tirned on. when the remote and hat are both charged it will be easy to deal with. the fit is slightly awkward but it was never intended to be worn in public. there are a couple of things that are worth addressing. some reviews have stated that the lights are white lights. they look like white LED lights until it is turned on. it is not white lights with a red lining as people have said. it is red lights in a black lining. i have thinning hair. i do not yet know if it will work. the recommendation is daily use for a few months. i will be following the direction and wait patiently. so far it turns on fine. it is charging fine. the lights are red and hopefully it will help my thinnking hair.

I generally wear caps every day. using this to help stimulate hair growth was a no brainer. I charge it at night and can wear it all day. good fit and comfortable. can't say how well it works or doesn't but for something that takes no thought into using, I think it's worth a try
